“We went out on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm. There were not many customers but the service was good in terms of checking on us every now and then. They have massive TVs on the walls to watch the FIFA world cup which was fun. The food was good - big portions but we did have to wait a while. We ordered a bandeja paisa and a parrilla mixta. The meats were good and so was the rice, egg, and avocado. The plantains were a bit overdone and burnt but still sweet. The blackberry juice was great and the tres leches for dessert was delicious.“

“This was my first time trying Colombian food in Florida and when I tell you this was the perfect place to try! My server Mafe was the sweetest and she was so friendly. The service and food was a 10/10 and this will definitely be a regular spot for me and my friends/family. Don’t hesitate to come here!!!“

“The food was really good. I had the sancocho de costillas (short rib soup); it came with an arepa, rice and half an avocado. It was a lot of soup and super flavorful. My girlfriend had the arroz con pollo with plantains. She really enjoyed it and had enough leftovers to take home.

The service was good, there was only one server. He was great, nice and suggested the dish I got...but it was a little slow because he was the only one there.

Would def like to come back and try some of the other dishes, would recommend 👌🏽“

“I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here a lot, and their maizitos are AMAZING. The food is always so good, but the service is what really stands out. We recently placed an order over the phone and ended up running late, and even though they had already closed, they were still so kind and let us come in to pick up our food. Since their terminal was already turned off, they asked if we could Zelle them, but because I was having issues with my Zelle, they literally told me I could just take the food and come back to the store whenever to pay. 🥹 The way they handled everything was so sweet and genuinely made me appreciate this place even more. Amazing food, amazing service, and such kind people. 10/10 would recommend! ❤“

“There was a young man at the counter and he was very nice and pleasant. Very observat and down to earth. I didn't get an opportunity to eat any of their foods, but I did try a few of their drinks and he introduced me to a Brazilian drink which tasted pretty good. Young man you're great! The servers known as Debbie, Belen, and Camila, were professional, kind, and respectful. Overall, I recommend going to La Paisa if you’re looking for authentic Colombian and international food. Even the bakery has authentic Colombian bread and pastries that are delicious for the taste buds as well. La Paisa is the slice of authentic Colombian culture that can be simply found in the traditional Colombian foods here in Fort Lauderdale.“
