“My name is Barbara and for my birthday I wanted the original cheesesteak with cheese whiz. Charlie’s is the place we found in pompano, and they went above and beyond the call of duty. The sandwiches were hot and delicious. The bread was soft and the owners even bought me two balloons because I was celebrating my birthday with my family. There was eight of us they accommodated us like we were family. The owners even brought me balloons balloons who does that Charlie’s does that’s who they also offered us a dessert on the house, but my girls that joined me, brought me a cake and strawberry, so we declined, thanking them very much for their thoughtfulness, and we made sure that Every staff member got a piece of our dessert that we brought. We will be back for more cheesesteaks and we will tell everybody about Charlie’s. It’s the best thank you so much.“

MAY 1, 2017), Drive-Thru at the Speaker -- "1 Chicken Combo & 1 Hamburger Combo....and said I have coupons for each...person at drive-thru started with crap that I was suppose to tell them this before order. I said there's no sign to suggest this, then a female came on speaker giving her ten cents to say I'm suppose to say coupons before order. First were in 21st Century this can be added into order. Second so rude to your customer. I just did not fight, but drove to drive-thru window and asked for manager. The person in drive-thru said he's the manager. I said good I will report this to 1-800-800-8072 Feedback(And I Did)!, told him thank you for messing up my meal for tonight." - So I just went to Little Ceasars LOL....this Checkers location have very poor customer service skills, save yourself your money & grief. This place is amazing for what they offer in their food quality and the prices I haven’t been back to snapper since I found this place!“

“I’ve lived near here since 2020 I believe management or ownership changed about 2 years ago and this establishments food is A+ omg the bread is always so fresh , steak season , fries hot only time you can expect long line is lunch hours and late nights but it’s worth it. “Great burgers. Citi place shopping center is the best location. People say it is expensive, but the burgers are real ground beef, the fries are cut there, no additives, the potatoes are fresh, cut there. The beef patties are made there, not some factory and then frozen. If you want quality it's going to be a little bit expensive. I don't mind paying a little bit more for what you get, and a large fry is more. They always put an extra scoop of fries in the bottom of your bag, and that's way more than just a large fry. Super place.“

However the food is decent quality. The people are generally nice and you can always depend on McDonald’s restaurant to restaurant to be consistent. I’ve rarely been disappointed in their breakfast, which is usually what I order.“

“This was my first time at Pollo Campero. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place.
Pollo Campero originated in Guatemala in 1971. This started out as a family run business.
The staff here at Pollo Campero are very nice especially Marisela. She was so very friendly and when my food order was ready she walked it over to us.
This restaurant was neat and clean and they have a good amount of tables if you want to eat in.I placed my order for takeout only.
A customer who had eaten here 19 times told me to order their Fried Chicken.Everything is made fresh. Based on his recommendation I did. I placed my order for 3- 3 Piece Meals that consisted of a Breast, Thigh, and Wing. It came with a choice of a side. I chose 2 of their Campero Rice side, and 1 of their Baked Beans side. I also ordered an order of Chicken Nuggets, a side of Coleslaw, Yuca, and Sweet Plantains. I thought the sides could’ve been bigger, I’m used to bigger sides, and you definitely need to get multiple sauces for dipping the chicken, and Yuca. The Yuca was very a bit plain and needed a dipping sauce. I’m used to a garlic dipping sauce.
They also sell Roasted Chicken, Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Empanadas, and at some locations a Campero Bowl.
If you order a 4 piece meal you can order 1/2 Fried Chicken,and 1/2 Roasted Chicken, or you can order just Fried or Roasted Chicken.
The Fried Chicken was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a crispy exterior, and the inside was very juicy and good. Even the Chicken Nuggets I tasted were delicious. They were all White Meat and some of the best i’ve tried. ( I highly recommend along with the Fried Chicken.)
FYI make sure you ask for dipping sauces, It wasn’t offered and I didn’t know to ask. One isn’t enough.My bf got their Campero Sauce, and their Ranch Sauce, both were good.
If you have kids order their Chicken Nuggets and Fries.
For Drinks they sell Horchata, Mango, and Jamaican along with Soda and Bottled Water.
Pollo Campero has plenty of free parking. There are a few Handicapped Parking spaces and this place is wheelchair accessible. I want to try their Roasted Chicken and their Chicken Empanadas, and of course their Fried Chicken Sandwich.
What I especially love is that they partner with Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital. They are very community oriented. Pollo Campero also does Catering.
