“Good food and portions, only problem is that everytime we go, I have to tell them to please turn down the (annoying) music. The employees have it loud for their benefit but my wife and I could hardly hear each other plainly. There were other patrons in the restaraunt that I know had the same issue but no one speaks up. Music is supposed to be BACKGROUND music - not a concert. Many other restaraunts do the same.“

“We came down to Jax for my birthday and a good friend of mine recommended TacoLu. We sat outside and the weather was perfect! The food was to die for! Perfect portion sizes and the price of the food for the portion size was better than what we pay at home for Mexican food. We will definitely be back to eat here! “I ordered via Door Dash twice in the past month and both times the food was excellently prepared and delicious! We will be visiting them tomorrow to dine in and I just wanted to explain why! Awesome food! Real breast meat chicken! Awesome salsa! Shredded beef tacos are super flavorful and tender with no gristle, fat, or other lazy errors in preparation. My son loves the kids burrito! We're going to be regular customers and love this place! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️“

“Holy smokes we found it!!! Authentic Mexican food like we had back in MI!! And at normal prices!!! We have been disappointed since moving to Jax Beach area last year that all the Mexican places were “fancy” - weird, elaborate dishes that cost way too much for what they are. This place is amazing- the food was perfect, service was fantastic, and the total bill was under $20 for lunch for the two of us (before tip). Chips were crispy and the salsa was perfectly spicy and super flavorful. We will definitely be back - the lunch specials are exactly what we are used to from MI days (hello speedy gonzales!) 5 plus stars, highly recommend!“

“Came to this place and I can't believe how good the food was. Has shrimp tacos with corn tortillas. To drink was agua fresca pineapple. Perfect 10. I got to see baseball game there and soccer match on the other tv. Great service and fast!!“

“Qdoba is a good option on campus, offering decent bowls, burritos, and more. I took off one star because it is only good during lunch time. When I go even an hour before closing time, they always run out of rice and chicken, and other limited ingredients. I wish they can have a good supply during dinner time :( I hope this can be shared with the team members. Other than that, the food is well cooked.“
