“Such great local gem! Always a nice local beer selection. Best hot dog in town. Please promote the person that suggested adding queso sauce to the hot dog. Absolutely legendary move that queso!!!!! Sweet (not so) little beer garden with small stage with live music. Probably seats 50 outside and more than that on the inside.“

“My husband and I stopped in on our recent visit to Port Charlotte and had a few crepes for breakfast. The chef was very nice and the food was delicious! He was short an ingredient and even gave us our crepes on the house. We will definitely be back!!

“Gatorz Bar & Grill Port Charlotte Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon around 4 ish. We sat on the outside patio area. They had some good live music playing which we enjoyed. They also have a bar and plenty of tables out there. One thing to note they do allow smoking in this area. I have to mention I was pleasantly surprised at how good their food was. Our waitress Hannah was on the ball with taking our drink and food orders. I ordered a Beer and the Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger with Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Grilled Blackened Fish, Fries and Coleslaw. My Beer was cold, and my Bacon Swiss Burger was the best Burger I had in this area in a long while. My wife’s Fish area amazing. It was done to perfection and the Blackened Seasoning took it to the next level. The Seasoned Fries were very good as was the Coleslaw. The only problem we had was Hannah forgot my coleslaw. “Cody’s Original Roadhouse Port Charlotte This place is in Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. It looks cool from the outside and even cooler on the inside. We got there on a Thursday night about 5ish. This place was hopping with a lot of people. It was neat and clean, and I loved the interior decorations. Our waitress Brenda was on the ball with our drink, our food orders, and any questions we had because of our first time there. I got a beer, and my wife got a Pina Colada, both were cold and very good. I ordered the 1lb Prime Rib med well with a side of Mashed Potatoes. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon with a side of Baked Sweet Potato in Cinnamon Butter. For an appetizer I ordered the half stick of Jumbo Onion Rings on a stick. Brenda stated she would bring out warm Rolls with Cinnamon Butter and a bowl of Salad that she would mix for the both of us right at the table. Our Onion Rings were very good and very large. The Salad she mixed and served on cold plates it was so good. When our Steaks came out, they looked amazing. Both are steaks were done perfect and they were so good. We could practically cut them with a butter knife they were that tender. Our side of Mashed Potatoes and the Sweet Potato was also very good. All our food was hot and flavorful. Brenda kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect even a manager stopped by and asked us how the food was. Our food was some of the best we had in this area in fact the entire experience was one of the best yet. Special thanks out to Brenda for such excellent service and the good vibe of this place. They do run Specials everyday on food and drinks you just have to check. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the great experience we had there.
