Waffle House in Port Orange

“I am writting this becuase i was in there today and the place was packed so I didnt have anywere to sit but the high bar so I sat there and a booth opened up so I asked if I could switch to the booth because I have a problem with me knees and it was to high up so my waitress Madison she said that was fine well the girl Megan whos section I went into was so rude and said she wouldnt serve me becuase i moved and I was only a party of 1 she was so rude to me I cant even tell you how rude she was I am a paying customer that should not matter I was taken back by just how rude she was she wouldnt get my drink take the order nothing it was very upsetting and I normally dont write on these reviews the only reason I am is because the one waitress and I asked her name Chrissy who section was all the way on the other side got my drink for me cleaned the table off for me ,checked on me to make sure everything was OK and that I was taken care of and I couldn't be more grateful for her doing that I am in customer service myself and it was so refreshing to see that there are some really good people out there she didnt have to do any of that she was already and I watched her making waffles ,doing dishes ,helping all the other girls as well as cleaning off any table that opened up so that customers can sit down and after I saw Chrissy doing all that plus helping everyone with a smile on her face absolutely turned that around for me I dont think WH even realizes what a gem you have on your hands I want to thank her for going out of her way to make sure I had a better experience then what Megan had given me she didnt have to take the time to make sure I was good but she did and I told her thank you !!! She would be the only reason I came back !!“

“Went here by accident when meeting up with my brother in law. Right away the host got me coffee and greeted me with a warm welcome. After a couple minutes I found out that my brother in law was at another location. I had to leave and went to pay for my coffee, the host got me a quick to go cup and didn’t charge me for the coffee! Assuring me that I could settle up if I must at the other Waffle shop. I left a good tip instead ;-) Looking for a warm welcome and friendly service, come here!“
