Food was cold, all of it was spicy even things that were not supposed to one meal had jalapeños in it ( not supposed to). Refried beans were runny. Sauces on the burritos was runny, chips were soaked with grease.
Worst meal ever. Don’t waste your money
5 stars. great service. awesome environment. the owner and staffwere great. came here for date night. ordered the carne asada fries. proportioned perfectly. ask for amado!
We just ate at Peppers in Port St Joe and I ordered a Chimichanga, that was supposed to be deep fried, but was not. It was soggy and the outer part not edible as it was doughy/chewy.
My husbands meal was supposed to come with a salad, and didn't and the menu didn't say it had cheese, but it did, which he didn't want and why he ordered what he did.
His food was cold, and while mine was warm it was probably because it was a special order so they actually had to cook it instead...read full review

Pepper's Mexican Grill & Cantina in Port St Pete offers a variety of Mexican dishes, including Al pastor tacos and quesadilla birria. This flagship location of a local Tex-Mex chain has been around since 2005 and features a friendly atmosphere with fast service. Chips and salsa are served upon seating, and while some guests have noted the salsa's flavor could be improved, many appreciate the fresh and plentiful chips. The restaurant has daily specials, such as 2-for-1 margaritas on Mondays. Customers highlight the perfect margarita, especially the frozen watermelon margarita with tajin on the rim, which is considered the best by some guests. The generous portions of cheese in their dishes are also praised. The carnitas, tortas, and carne asada street tacos are mentioned as super tasty options, with the tacos served with soft corn tortillas and a solid tomatillo salsa. While some diners find the food lacks authenticity compared to traditional Mexican cuisine, others enjoy the experience and find it a good alternative to local seafood. Overall, it's a decent option for those craving Mexican food in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
