“Shrimp always tastes fresh, love their General Tso chicken, vegetable egg foo young, roast pork Chow Mei Fun, best wonton soup and LOVE their white rice! Not a fan of their silky?, twice cooked?chicken or beef broccoli dishes. But they have more to love and enjoy so we do!! Thank you, China Inn!“
“China Star is my go to place for Chinese take out on the island. It is "New York Style" Chinese. What does that mean? Variety! They actually have real shrimp egg rolls which I love and are hard to find anymore. Most places don't even know the difference between an egg roll and a spring roll. The fried rice is excellent, and the people there treat you like family. I refuse to eat Chinese anywhere else on the island.“
“I stopped the other to get an order of Shrimp fried rice.I asked to please add some garlic to the order. Before I comment on my order I want to say that I understand not all things or foods are created equal where ever you go.2nd upon receiving my order I look at the order and notice that the rice was darker than I was accustomed to receiving.I am not a fan of to much soy on my food. The food was ok, i didn't taste the garlic I asked for at all.Go by and give them a try.“
“All you can eat with seafood (even crab legs) and sushi done pretty well! Very friendly staff keep your drinks topped off and table clean between plates. They have several good choices. I still can't believe that they have all you can eat crab legs! Although, some were a little overcooked so the meat stuck to the shell. They also have a little pick your own BBQ kind of spot where they cook it fresh for you. Very kid friendly. The icecream is tucked away in a corner so you may have to look for it, that is if you have any room left. I prefer the coconut pudding and raspberry mousse.“
“Great spot for Chinese takeout. Looks to be a small family business so glad to support a place that's also tasty. Went on a Friday night around 7. The place was busy so we ordered to go and waited a few minutes. We should have called ahead as that's what we saw other people do. They had all their takeout just ready and waiting for people to pickup. Pretty quick, good quality food made to order.“
“Delicious Asian food at affordable prices! Nice family atmosphere and very comfortable! I really enjoyed eating here and I think you will too. The food is great! Don't order anything too complicated! Stick with the basics! Combination platters won't steer you wrong! Affordable prices too!“
“Great food, served by the friendliest woman to grace an ordering counter.Unfortunately, I went there the day before they were closing for a 2 week vacation. I ended up throwing everything away. It was cold or very greasy - not at all their typical food.Since then we’ve ordered from there again and the food was back to its typical goodness.“
“This restaurant is really amazing!!!! The service is outstanding, the food is phenomenal and the place as a whole is relaxing. My husband and I eat here often. I recommend the general tso chicken, crag rangoons, and hot and sour soup. I my also love the fresh sushi you can get here. This place is a must stop on your travels“
“How nice they made our pork lo mein w/o onions, no fuss. We were very pleased with the Lo Mein, my husband is very fussy over Lo Mein. His Spring rolls were nice. Egg roll over done, next time I will get the spring rolls. Cut it open and the inside tasted nice. Curious the Crab Rangoons were not the shape I was accustomed too and could have had a little more filling. But all in all we will try again. Spent $24.00 but that was with sales tax and our order took less than 10 minuesJust saw review on General Tso, I will be ordering that next time.“
“Dont bother paying online as they don't accept online payments. If you do make the same mistake as me of paying online do double check your receipt as they do add on the tip that you included online and then the receipt will ask for another tip so just be careful of that unless you want to tip twice. Food is good though“
“Came here for lunch today. Lunch special is great. Wife had sweet and Sour Chicken and I had the Hunan chicken. I am a big eater and it was a great portion for lunch and especially the price ($6.45). Comes with chicken fried rice but you can substitute white rice which my wife did. We both were very happy with our food. Both had plenty of chicken. If I lived closer I would come here more often but the 3 or so times I’ve been her I am always impressed. My wife comes her for lunch often.Anyway highly recommend.“
“I can honestly say that I only like my Chinese food from this restaurant versus any other. I don’t think I have ever gotten any of my orders wrong here out of the 20 years I’ve lived here and visited this restaurant. 10/10! Highly recommend coming here!“
