“Yesterday afternoon I was at the Publix shopping center in Port St. John and happened to notice China Wok. I was planning to just grab a sandwich inside the supermarket, but decided to try the Chinese takeout instead. Ordered the boneless spare ribs special (under $10) that came with roast pork fried rice and a drink. Honestly the most satisfying lunch deal I’ve had in days — generous portions and really tasty. Solid 5 stars!“

“We enjoyed the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet there yesterday. This is an attractive, beautifully appointed restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. (No flat screen TVs at all! Bravo!) We have eaten at many Indian restaurants in different states serving a lunch buffet for a flat price. This is among the best we've tried. Yesterday they served papadams, a fresh, mixed greens salad (prepared more like a slaw), fluffy white rice, a veggie fritter, green beans with coconut, cream-style mixed vegetable dish, tandoori chicken, butter chicken (tomato cream sauce), and a thin noodle & cashew dessert. Plain, buttered naan is included with the meal an we each had a sweet lassi. The staff was friendly and attentive; all dishes were expertly prepared, fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. The price was reasonable for the quality of food. We'd go back.“

“I was part of a party of four. Everyone in our party was amazed by the wide selection of dishes, by the waitstaff professionalism, and then by the truly exceptional tastes of the dishes we enjoyed. We are well traveled vegan diners with two in our party this day from Great Britain. We decided to split the foods we ordered so that we could enjoy the array of food so well presented. We all ecstatically enjoyed the Monte Cristo, Reuben, Drumsticks, CrabCakes, 321 Nachos w/ Impossible added, Fried Green Tomatoes, Mac and Cheese side, House Seasoned Fries, Fried Green Tomatoes and cake! “Stopped for brunch this morning first time there. It’s a typical diner. Was disappointed that a business that says Mitchell’s Mimosas had no champagne to make mimosas. It’s not far from a few places that they could’ve picked up a few bottles of sparkling wine if running low. It is Father’s Day after all. Best part of entire experience was the very friendly, efficient waitress Trinity. She was attentive, suggested a few things on the menu, ensured beverages were filled. Food was good- typical diner. Is it a place I would go out of my way for? Probably not. But if I do, I would want Trinity as my server.“

The Hardware Store Brewing Company has been on its own (wo Brix) for quite a while now and has still got its small brewery feel as it always has. Hardware has many great new brews from the original owner/brewer as all of the original Playalinda brews went with the new owners of Brix establishment.
Well worth the trip downtown with plenty of parking on the Indian River side of the brewery.“

“I bought 4 friends for lunch on Saturday as this has been my favorite restaurant in Brevard County since the 70's. Even had my daughter's pre-wedding luncheon there. These 4 ladies had never been to the Cafe. Their meals were fabulous. The waitresses were amazing. We had a different waitress who took our coffee order. I did not get her name. She was blonde and short. She began to get rude and continued until we left. So what would have been a lovely experience, ended. They will never go back.“

“Can't say enough good things about this place. We tried their Saturday brunch buffet once on a whim and ended up going almost every week for months (can't wait until it comes back in fall). The food was so good that my GF who doesn't eat beef and is very picky loved it. Their brunch has the option of full meat service or just the AYCE brunch bar which includes coffee/orange juice and your standard breakfast buffet stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. along with the ability to get things like eggs, omelets, waffles, pancakes made to order AND a variety of lunch food (notably including but not limited to AYCE tacos). When you consider normal breakfast places with meal and a drink are now costing $20+ a person their AYCE brunch is an absolute deal (I literally just this weekend spent $22 on a breakfast of 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, potatoes, a biscuit, and a soda--nowhere near what I'd get at Brasas). But honestly the quality of the food and value alone aren't what make this place stand out to me. Simply put, its the people. The owner(s) and staff are some of the most genuinely nice, down to earth, hard working, and appreciative people I've met running a restaurant in years. Its obvious how much they care about and take pride in everything they do. By the third time we went there, it felt like they weren't just happy that we were back, but that they were genuinely happy to see us. Give this place a try (especially the brunch when it comes back). This is the type of family run place that the local community should support and tourists should enjoy.“
