Went back to Brooklyn Joe's today. Had the sausage with onions and peppers. It did have red sauce and white American cheese on it. I'm sure you could have provolone or something different if you choose to , but the sandwich was very good. The sausage had a good fresh flavor with a nice spice to it. While the pizza is incredible, it is always the staff here that blows me away! They are so welcoming and friendly, anticipate our needs, accommodating for my kids, and just all around wonderful. The food came out hot and very quickly, with leftovers that reheated well. Definitely try a specialty pie - my favorites are the Bal Harbor and the Aqui Esta Fiesta, but if you’re a plain pie person you won’t be disappointed either.
