“I come here often. My husband and I love getting the chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich and it’s delicious every time. Honestly though, I don’t think I’ve ever had anything bad from here. Highly recommend coming here if you haven’t before.“

“Went here with my dad—we’re both Puerto Rican, born and raised. Despite some bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised.
Alcapurria and Queso Frito were excellent. The stuffed mofongo was one of the best I’ve had in Tampa, while the arroz con gandules tasted reheated. Prices felt a bit high for a casual Puerto Rican spot in Brandon.
Pros: Great appetizers, excellent mofongo, friendly service
Cons: Rice quality, slightly pricey
Overall, a solid meal. I wouldn’t go out of my way, but I’d return if I’m nearby. Grade: B+“
