“My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..“

“The managers both Carlie and Justin were both very accommodating when I called to make a reservation for 20 to celebrate a birthday at the restaurant. Our server Devon did an outstanding job and was absolutely fine regarding our request for multiple checks. The food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. They allowed me to bring in a birthday cake and they served it for no extra charge. We were all extremely happy with the service provided and will definitely return!!“

“Some of the best BBQ I've had. It truly was the best brisket I've ever had, the rub crust on the outside is tasty and left me wanting more. The tomato cucumber salad was more sweet than vinegary and I liked it. The collards were okay but I prefer a little spice in mine. Next time I'm trying the potato salad because it looked delicious. Didn't get to try the burnt ends because they were all out, but next time. The menu is unusual and they seem to push by the pound meat but just order from the third portion of the menu and you'll be fine. It is in an unassuming strip center next to Thornton's but it's a sweet little restaurant inside with a fair amount of seating. I mean it was freezing and I hate those metal chairs but they had tvs to distract and the young people working there were very nice and polite and the girl behind the counter explained things very well. They have a small container with ice and a few types of beers and white claws if you like. We WILL be back because we've found our favorite BBQ!“

“For a chain restaurant, for which I detest, they have the best baby back ribs anywhere. \n\nRibs come on a platter with beans and slaw and a piece of garlic bread. Pure Deliciousness. Aaron, our server took good care of us. Dustin. the grill master, grilled to perfection! \n\nBeer is 2 for 1. Plenty of parking. I will be back again and again.\n\nWifey, who doesn't even like ribs, loves the baby back ribs here. She approves!“

Nothing fancy and no phoo phoo BS just authentic barbecued food with all the traditional trimmings including sweet potato pie, smoked collard greens...the works.
Carryout only...best eaten outdoors IMHO.“

“Had a large party- service excellent and server very efficient and pleasant.
Fun atmosphere, upbeat.
Food- well $25 for sliced corned beef ( very fatty) and a very small portion of bone-in chicken with decent baked beans, (which were very good) and a small side of garlic mashed potatoes ( not creamy nor hot)
Suggestions? Leaner corned beef, larger chicken portion as well as mashed potatoes ( low cost item to put out, cost pennies to serve larger portion)
$25 price point is high unless above improvements are made.
My friends beef brisket looked like a nice portion and enjoyed.
Will be back and hope management takes review as constructive criticism in a very hard and competitive business-

“I was surprised going to Longhorn for lunch at the variety of excellent value-priced lunch specials they have!
I had the 7-Pepper grilled Sirloin Lunch Salad cooked to order (mine always very rare!) that comes with a choice of soup - I chose a delicious creamy Shrimp & Lobster Chowder loaded with shrimp, lobster, corn, red bell peppers, potatoes, and topped with fresh green onions. What a great meal for $17
…..And it comes with a small loaf of hot bread and butter! Other great options lunch specials available.

“I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working behind the counter at Perry’s BBQ, but this mall food court joint just destroyed every strip mall Chinese spot I’ve ever been to. Their orange chicken? Unreal. Crispy doesn’t even begin to describe it—it’s audibly crunchy, with that perfect golden coating that somehow stays crisp even under a sticky, sweet-tangy glaze.
But here’s the kicker: portions. These folks don’t mess around. You order a combo, and they fill that Styrofoam container to the brim. It’s basically a protein mountain—whether it’s orange, bourbon, or Mongolian chicken (all excellent, by the way), you’re walking away with a meal and a half. Maybe three tbh.
Even the fried rice is dialed in. None of that bland, dry filler nonsense. It’s savory, loaded with flavor, and honestly could stand on its own. But paired with any of their proteins? Game over.
I came for something quick. I left thinking about when I’m coming back. Perry’s BBQ isn’t just good for a mall. It’s just flat-out amazing.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for approximately 40 people this past week. Talked to Emma! She was so amazing. I want to make sure the owner of this establishment knows how valuable she is to the restaurant. She was so kind and accommodating. She single-handedly served all 40 of us. She is a wonderful person, and it was one of the highlights of our entire wedding weekend. It was so good, in fact, that my wife and I and a few of our children came back on Sunday and she served us again. God bless you, Emma!“

“I didn't realize how good I had it for K BBQ until I moved away and now I miss Sa Ri One all the time. Their quality of meat, variety of banchan and the way they have their buffet set up is fantastic. The different soups you can try, the after meal drinks that are kept so chilled and the refreshing fruit or veggies you can add. I ask every Korean place if they have Sujeonggwa or Sikhye because I got spoiled, but so far no luck. The steamed egg and other starters are also delightful. The value for their AYCE combos is definitely worth it. If I am in the area again I know the first place I am going!“

“My husband and I were recently in the area to help family with cleanup after Helene. We decided to check out Smokey Bones as it was not too far from our hotel. We went along with family and overall we were very happy with the place. We liked the food but I thought the chili was on the sweet side...which I personally don't like. The best part about our meal was our server Brittany. We went back a second time and we were lucky to have Brittany as our server again. She was very friendly and entertaining. If we ever go back to Fl, we will definitely stop by.“

“We were there on a Sunday evening and it was a little quieter than usual (Friday and Saturday evenings when we typically go). Service was excellent - everyone was so attentive! Food was beautifully presented and delicious, as was my martini. The bartender even came over to see how it was. Great evening - loved every aspect of the experience.“
