“This place is the perfect casual relaxed Tikki bar. The guacamole is to DIE for !!!! I ordered it on the suggestion of Kat the barlass, whose service was absolutely incredible !! I followed the fresh made guacamole with the grilled ribeye and it was a perfect blend of flame kissed savorieness and a very slight scald flavor to give it some earthiness. The prices are reasonable the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. This place is worth driving out of your way for. You will NOT be disappointed!!!“

Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. “I’ve been meaning to write this review for weeks, and I’m sorry to have put it off!

My husband and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving together on Sanibel and decided to go out to dinner. Everywhere we tried was booked or closed (totally on us). I finally found Blue Rendezvous, and it seemed romantic and lovely. I’m so glad we found it!

From the start, it felt like walking into a little neighborhood bistro. The hostess/owner was SO kind and accommodating. Being New Englanders, we weren’t afraid of the “cold” (it was in the high 60s…) so we opted to sit outside. We were the only ones out there as we had a later reservation, and it was perfect. The hostess turned the music on and made our little spot so perfect.

When a family with very young children sat down and complained about the service being slow (they had no reservations on a major holiday on a small island, and I was honestly embarrassed at how they were treating the staff), the staff rushed to accommodate their last minute request. The family was not pleased, and left in a hurry; fine by us! The staff clearly felt badly, but they did everything they could, and frankly more, to help these folks who were really not being very gracious. As a business owner and someone who worked in restaurants for a long time, they handled it with grace.

Our waitress was amazing, and had the best suggestions! We both went for the prix fixe menu. Every single thing was delicious, from the French onion soup to the beef bourguignon that tasted exactly how my grandmother made it. The cocktails and wine were the perfect complement, and the crème brûlée was some of the best we’ve ever had!

If you’re on Sanibel, do not miss out on this newer restaurant! The service, food, and experience were 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you!“

“My friends and I have been coming to Sanibel for 24 years. This year was hard for me personally. Recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal a severe allergy to many things including meat dairy eggs and others. Already was allergic to gluten. I was afraid I wouldn't have food options on the island until I found The Sanibel Sprout. Their coconut bacon BLT saved my life and I went there 5 out of 7 days. The ladies there are amazing and they even have Bible verses painted on shells you can buy. I would highly recommend and just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of me!“

“My husband and I came here last night and we had a great time. Hannah was an absolute gem, she happily answered all our questions and recommended good choices off the menu. We had the Hogfather sandwich on sourdough with fries, the chicken tenders tossed with the cilantro, corn, cojita cheese and other spices (they were huge) and we tried the gouda mac and cheese. We weren't too impressed with the mac and cheese but it was good, and the rest of the food was fantastic. My husband also loved their old fashioned.

They had a cover singer was wonderful as well.
