“We had a very nice and flavorful dinner ! Ceviche was fresh, large portion, perfect flavors. Also had the spicy wings and you can order all flats - a sign of a great wing place. Tacos and enchiladas were also nice portions and flavors
Best of all was Anna our waitress who is awesome, with great recommendations and knowledgeable of the menu, super service with a great smile and attitude! Made our first time there an easy and delicious outing.
My only concern was the very loud “background “ music When greeted by the hostess, communication was strained as she could not hear and kept asking what what, thanks to the manager who did turn the volume down to background music so we did not have to yell at the table. Thanks“

“First time there a week ago food and service was perfect! I brought another friend 5 days later but this time the food was barely lukewarm. Service was good but my friend did not want to complain that her chimichanga was cold. Sometimes you just don’t feel like it. I didn’t care for my dish which I wouldn’t order again which was quesadilla with chicken and pineapple. I couldn’t taste the pineapple. I’ll go back but order something different.“

“This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! Mexican food holds a special place in my heart since I lived in Mexico for many years, and this place did not disappoint. I will definitely be coming back a thousand times over, especially if Johana is my server. Her charisma and warm smile made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!“

“My husband and I love to eat here and the only reason why I gave it a four-star is because he loves yuengling beer and they were out of it so he had to drink Modelo which he ended up liking. The food is always very fresh and good. The food did take a while this time and they had no people in the restaurant so I don't know why that was. Definitely recommend it. And our waitress who has been there for a long time is very, very sweet and friendly and attentive“

“So I have been in Jacksonville for 3 years. Im a Texan and I want to keep the standard the same for quality and quantity in a meal as any place I love in my home state. I have to say this is it, this is the one. The portions are huge, the taste of each plate we tried was excellent. We did not try any of the seafood options. I have to say this is now my Mexican food place. Arturo was the best and made our experience exceptional. The happy hour top self margaritas for $6.99, you could not beat are not watered down.( I only had 1 ) my hubby is driving home lol. This is the place to try out for sure if you love Mexican like I do.“

“Always hit this location for our Mexican Food fix, and they never disappoint! The food is excellent and the staff is always courteous. Consistency is the word that comes to mind when describing this La Nopalera restaurant, as I always order the same dish, and it's awesome every time. We are partial to this particular location, although they have several other locations in Jacksonville.“

“The kids like Moe's and we visit the Julington Creek location about once a month. This location was remodeled (maybe a year ago?) and is nice. Sometimes they seem a little understaffed, but these days I know it's tough to field a team. The food is consistent quality and the seating areas are clean. I really like the outdoor patio seating, but sometimes it's just too warm and muggy to sit outside.“

“Judith was an ANGEL? she knew every ingredient in our dishes, when our friend wanted something off menu, she picked an item close to it and worked out what it was comprised of to make the best meal for him, got our tickets fast without us asking when we mentioned in passing going to a movie. 10/10 best server I’ve ever had?“

“I have it low stars for the atmosphere only cause it was so loud. I was just picking up an online order and it echoes and is to loud. I loved my food to go and the manager was so nice even though you can clearly see they were short staffed and very busy. There was a long wait on my food.“

“Ordered off kiosk. At the end, the screen asked to put full name and 1 letter for last name. Put "Igotta" for the first name and "P" for the last name. Girl behind the counter asked if she really had to call it out loud. I said yep. She said it. "I Gotta P". 5 stars for excellent customer sevice!“

“The people were okay.the restrooms were filthy. Looked as if someone tried to mop. But then was dancing on the toilet seats with same shoes that walked through mop water on floor. Said something to manager and a corporate person standing around in store...no rush to do anything. So walked across street to MCDONALD'S to have my lunch.“

“I had to go out of my way to make sure that I posted about how great of a job the kitchen is doing at this location of Salsas. The food was acceptable over the past year, but within the past few months, it has gone from good to fantastic. Everything, and I mean everything on the menu is fresher and more flavorful. I dont know they accomplished this improvement, but definetly keep it going.“
