“Good food and portions, only problem is that everytime we go, I have to tell them to please turn down the (annoying) music. The employees have it loud for their benefit but my wife and I could hardly hear each other plainly. There were other patrons in the restaraunt that I know had the same issue but no one speaks up. Music is supposed to be BACKGROUND music - not a concert. Many other restaraunts do the same.“

“We have been to Rosy's a number of times and have always been pleased with the experience. We generally go for weekday lunch so it is not crowded but there are still other patrons so the restaurant is in action but not rushed. Drinks come quickly. The chips are fresh and medium crunch, so not the real thin ones that break and not the very thick that are too hard. The salsa is consistently good with just a little kick and always has visible cilantro, which I prefer. The meals come out in a reasonable time. We've tried several items and all were to our liking. I think their grilled chicken is marinated well and has a very good taste, plus if an item doesn't come with steak or shrimp you can still upgrade to it. We've never checked the restrooms so no comment. We've had the latest server more than once and he does an excellent job, and if I remember correctly that all servers we've encountered are pleasant and efficient. The dining room is clean and spacious although a tad outdated in decorating, but I am there for eating and not from Architectural Digest. And yes, parking can be a challenge in that strip mall but since Rosy's is on the corner, go to the side for more places. Overall we were happy with our latest experience and we will definitely visit a number of times in 2025.“

“This is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville. My wife and I learned about this place a week ago. We have now been here a few times. The staff is honestly one of the most professional, pleasant, and patient individuals we've come across in a long time. They make us feel as if we are walking into a family or very good friends house. I am not Mexican, (I am Ecuadorian) however I grew up in Los Angeles and enjoy mexican food very much. Their dishes are really fresh, they taste great, and the portions are very good and affordable. I love that they are able to accommodate my child, and made sure that his Torta was not only made the way he wanted it, but it also tasted amazing. The choco flan is out of this world. I would also like to recognize Jacobo (owner), he is one the most wonderful, pleasant individuals, I have ever met. When he and my wife talk about the different dishes their parents and family made for them, I can clearly see the enjoyment they experienced.“

“So I have been in Jacksonville for 3 years. Im a Texan and I want to keep the standard the same for quality and quantity in a meal as any place I love in my home state. I have to say this is it, this is the one. The portions are huge, the taste of each plate we tried was excellent. We did not try any of the seafood options. I have to say this is now my Mexican food place. Arturo was the best and made our experience exceptional. The happy hour top self margaritas for $6.99, you could not beat are not watered down.( I only had 1 ) my hubby is driving home lol. This is the place to try out for sure if you love Mexican like I do.“

“I’ve been eating at La Nop since 2002. The best one, IMO, has always been the one on Beach Blvd. I moved away a few years back and was in town this week to visit friends and family. Met up here and the food was good. It’s not the same as the Beach location(though I’ve heard that’s all changed since ownership changed hands) but it’s still good. The prices are waaay higher now, but, that’s a trend everywhere. Nice atmosphere, great service. Queso is amazing. I am always chasing the high of La Nop on the early days.😍“

“Craving a burrito yesterday, I ordered Bubbakoo's on Doordash for my girlfriend and I. Had never heard of them before, but they had a buy one get one promo and I couldn't argue with $6 each. It was solid, not the best by any means as the chicken texture was a little strange, but otherwise good and hit the spot. I'd like to go in person next time and try something else!“

“I was invited to go to Tijuana Flats as a last-minute thing! I decided to accept because I didn’t feel like cooking dinner that night! It had been quite a while since my last visit to any Tijuana Flats but this one was one I hadn’t ever visited.

This location was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. There was no problem with finding a table, tho. The food came out relatively quick and was delivered to the table, as opposed to us waiting at the counter like a take-out meal. It was all prepared just as ordered and the portions were great.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean given the amount of people that were eating at the time. The staff was very patient with the kids in our party as they placed their own orders. It was a good visit and worth the 20 minute drive! Definitely will re-visit!“

“This is my go-to for a quick bite. Always fast and consistent service. Sometimes hit or miss on how much filling is in your order, but when I have made big orders I have never had any missing food items. The drive-thru is always better in my opinion. I have picked up a couple times from the inside and service is usually slower inside for me. With the drive thru, even if the line is long, it moves quickly. I highly recommend using their app to place your order to ensure any customization you might want are correct (just better than yelling into a speaker and dealing with miscommunication in the drive thru). Overall this is the best fast food choice in proximity to me, and as I said, my go-to for a quick bite.“

“The people were okay.the restrooms were filthy. Looked as if someone tried to mop. But then was dancing on the toilet seats with same shoes that walked through mop water on floor. Said something to manager and a corporate person standing around in store...no rush to do anything. So walked across street to MCDONALD'S to have my lunch.“
