Hey, I came here with my wife. I can’t say enough about Dee she was such an excellent server so kind and helpful with making a selection. We are visiting from michigan and this was our first time in St Pete. We had a great time at the Don Cesar and will be back. I got the shrimp orecchiette and she got the Peruvian chicken skewers. Both were excellent. In addition, I had the muscles. Chef Marvin was kind enough to let me special order them without the Thai chili. Yum...

The place was nice and the food was good. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server seemed to be in a hurry the entire time. She would come to the table and leave almost immediately, making it difficult to ask for anything. I actually felt uncomfortable requesting assistance because she always seemed more focused on rushing away than attending to our table.

What made it even more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn’t even busy....

It’s fine. A little pricey but if you’re staying at The Don, it’s a very convenient and suitable option for any meal. The Red Snapper was surprisingly good and a good sized portion. If you order the Ceasar salad, get the dressing on the side as it’s very flavorful.
