Impressive menu and great service
Food was very good with massive portions, would have appreciated a little bit smaller portions and a focus on a better quality fish. The service was very well intentioned, but communication was challenging due to a lack of English fluency by many of the servers. The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, especially at the entrance to the restaurant. With a lot of people standing around in a disorganized fashion. Aji Ceviche Bar St. Petersburg – Peruvian Restaurant offers food that is very good, nearly authentic, absolutely exquisite, and full of flavor, with massive portions. The drinks are more than delicious, and the service is truly incredible, well intentioned, and good, though communication can be challenging due to a lack of English fluency by many of the servers. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic, especially at the entrance, with a lot of people standing around in a disorganized fashion; a better thought out host stand would make the restaurant a lot more well welcoming. The people are friendly, and the ambiance is a vibeeee with decor that some absolutely loved, though one wished for more culturally decorated surroundings and cultural music instead of the pop station. Menu items mentioned include ceviche maracuyá, arroz con pato, Conchas al fuego, Aji explosion ceviche, Pork belly ceviche, Acevichado roll, Inca roll, Pulpo a la parrilla, Parrilla marina, Pasta en tinta de calamar en salsa a lo macho y mariscos, and Aeropuerto noodle and rice combo with fried chicken. The restaurant definitely does not skimp on the portions and exceeded all expectations.
