“Everything is absolutely delicious here. I’ve been ordering from them 2-3 times a week for about a month now and I’m obsessed. The food is filled with flavor, the vegetables extremely fresh and flavorful as well. I’m very picky with my meat and you can tell they thoroughly clean their meat here and marinate it. I’ve had their oxtail, curry chicken, stewed chicken, fish soup, jerk chicken, ackee & salt fish, and when I tell you every single dish was incredible I mean it. Their natural drinks are out of this world as well, definitely give the carrot juice, sorrel juice, and the pineapple/watermelon/ginger drinks a try. I will be ordering them for as long as I can and big props to the chef for whipping up such great dishes. ?“

“Went here with my husband and two friends. We all loved it. HUGE portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Top-notch service. There isn't much of a seating area but they were kind enough to bring out an extra stool so we were all able to sit down. I had the jerk pork. My husband got both the jerk chicken which he said was good and the brown stew chicken which he thought was phenomenal. We all really like their red rice which is cooked with coconut milk. Mixed vegetables were not overcooked like they seem to be at a lot of restaurants. We all loved their hot sauce. Not a lot for vegetarian options, but they are still able to accommodate those with a vegetarian diet.“

“Really good food. Oxtail was bussin'. We got there right before they closed so we didn't get to try a lot, but the rice and cabbage were also good. The plantain were nice and ripely and nicely cooked! In and out quick service. The staff was respectful and friendly!“
“I have been trying to find ox tail that reminds me of my time in the islands all over Pinellas County and this is the first time I found an ox tail dish that has the right dark rich color was tender, but still had nice texture and wasn’t greasy. Lots of great layers of flavor. Mr. Mike at Calabash is making some wonderful authentic island dishes.The curry goat was also excellent and I love the traditional sides of cabbage and rice & peas.Everything had just the right amount of spice and they even had my favorite grapefruit soda “ting”!“

“Great seafood. We had the Yucatan shrimp appetizer, so delicious I almost asked our waitress for a spoon for the sauce ?. I had the orange ginger shrimp with coconut jasmine rice . Tasty, but I would ask for plain rice the next time. My husband had the seafood paella. He was very impressed. We don't drink, but their bar menu was extensive. Wait for an outside seat, weather permitting. Enjoy!Parking: Pay parking at a meter using license plate number. Make sure to have license plate number before going to pay kiosk. Pay for plenty of time to enjoy the pier.“
“This place has the best atmosphere! I love the live music, the water views and sitting outside has all the Florida vibes.I usually order the shrimp and grits but this time the shrimp tasted stale and the grits wasn’t as saucy as I’d like. By the time it came to my table it wasn’t hot anymore. I’m disappointed with their lack of consistency. I’m not sure if there’s staff issues or what, but in prior years the food was consistently good and now it’s just “ok”.The kids meals were a hit and the ice cream ? sandwich is a fan favorite. I’ll give them another try simply because of the atmosphere.“

I am a student from out of state and this is my go-to stop every time I am home on breaks for their food, especially the doubles!!The shop owners had a family emergency but took the time to call me and let me know so we could coordinate a time for me to still enjoy their food! My family also appreciates the convenience of getting groceries here.“
