A magically beautiful setting with good food. But prepare to be ignored by a thoroughly aloof staff. I went twice before leaving this review. Was treated the same both times. We were ignored at the counter while the crew chatted and played around, and had to ask BOTH times (one month apart) for someone to take our order. NO information given. The barest of communication. We seemed like a bother, and we are very nice folks! Go figure.
I ordered the burrito and added chicken. It was just ok. Nothing special. Though it was an ample size burrito. But for the price, $23 + tip, it came with no sauce, no chips, no side. Plus the chicken was somewhat dry. The young lady at the register just looked at me when I asked her a question about the menu.
We made plenty of jokes about the name of the restaurant, but there’s nothing funny about the way they sling out delicious pizza left, right and center. They are very serious about the quality of ingredients and it shows.
They could have a better system for seating and reservations. Granted, we were a party of 8, but we reserved ahead of time and were told there’d be a table ready. That message was not relayed to the appropriate parties,...
