Find me a better causal & local restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach…I don’t think you can. The vibe and food at South (us locals call it South), is 10/10! Patrick and Kari are the best, and run their business with so much love for their community! PS - get the fish tacos!

As a vet I like to support other vets. Glad we gave this place a try. Philly was pretty good. Kids enjoyed their tenders and burgers as well. Absolutely loved the sweet potato fries and their special sauce. Wings could’ve had a little more flavor and been more crisp but overall it was a good experience.

This place is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, delicious, and made with care. Everything we've tried has been amazing. (I especially love the Chicken Philly and fries with their South of Philly sauce!) Beyond the great food, the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and just a really cool place to hang out. I also appreciate that it's locally owned by a family that loves and pours into the community!

I live very close, so I was really hoping it would be a good spot. I got the Philly cheese steak and the steak itself had an almost ground beef spongy texture, seems to be very low quality meat, you can see from the picture. The worst cheesesteak I’ve personally ever had.

Great place to get a taste of Philadelphia! The fact that they have Amoroso buns shipped in from Philly is all you need to know!

Awesome little food joint, tucked in all the chaos of the beach. South of Philly has great owners, upbeat music (at a conversational level), choice to eat inside or out amd pricing that makes you think you've gone back in time.
Definitely recommend. It seems to be a locals favorite too.

This place is unexpectedly amazing. The food is some of the best food I have ever found in the entire area. You can tell the owner, or whoever comes up with the menu, puts a lot of care, thinking, and thought into how they craft their food. The service was impeccable. The location looks like just your average sandwich shop, but the food hits way above the belt.

Amazing food, amazing service, even better atmosphere. This restaurant constantly goes above and beyond daily for their patrons and makes stellar food. They even support your local first responders. Try them if you haven’t, if you already have then I’m certain you will be returning.
