“Best jalapeño bagel I’ve ever had. So much so I waited in line just to tell them that. Breakfast bagel, double meat and provolone. Fantastic. I’ve had my share of bagels and always Jalapeño, and Buddy’s is a must stop institution in Sarasota. The place is authentic NY, including the Pork Roll.“

“There are several good coffee places in Sarasota, but this one is the best. The friendly warm couple who run this shop treat you like family, and offer a non-sugar, non-artificial vanilla ice coffee that competitors do not offer.“

“The store was spacious and very clean. It wasn’t too busy, but there were a few people already eating and ordering. The cashier was very friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the old man making the drinks seemed to be in a bad mood—slamming drinks down and mumbling so much that multiple customers had to ask if the drinks were theirs.

When I finally got mine, it had caramel running all down the side of the cup, which I didn’t notice until it ended up all over my shirt. Definitely something that needs improvement.“
