“Best jalapeño bagel I’ve ever had. So much so I waited in line just to tell them that. Breakfast bagel, double meat and provolone. Fantastic. I’ve had my share of bagels and always Jalapeño, and Buddy’s is a must stop institution in Sarasota. The place is authentic NY, including the Pork Roll.“

“The store was spacious and very clean. It wasn’t too busy, but there were a few people already eating and ordering. The cashier was very friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the old man making the drinks seemed to be in a bad mood—slamming drinks down and mumbling so much that multiple customers had to ask if the drinks were theirs.

When I finally got mine, it had caramel running all down the side of the cup, which I didn’t notice until it ended up all over my shirt. Definitely something that needs improvement.“
