We went to Sofia's after church to celebrate my daughters First Communion. The owner had the tables ready for our large party and treated us like we were family! We enjoyed the food. It was delicious and authentic. He even made a special cake for my daughters. He came out to make sure we were happy and entertained us with his great sense of humor. Our waitress was also perfect! We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Naples and I am so glad we did! The ambiance was calming and the service was great - our waiter, Julio, was attentive and accommodating - he offered to make a special pasta with butter sauce for my children.Between my husband and I and my in-laws, we ordered the Cesar and Marybeth salads as well as the baked meatball appetizer. I have been to the chefs past 5 restaurants and this is the best! Angelo is truly the chef in Sarasota. Food is very fresh and service is amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant
