This burrito? Life-changing. I’m not being dramatic — every bite felt like a warm hug from someone who knows how to season meat. The rice was fluffy perfection, the grilled meat had that smoky, just-charred-enough edge, and the cheese melted into the kind of creamy happiness that usually only happens in dreams. The tortilla? Griddled with love. I don’t know what Rigo’s doing back there, but I would 100% attend a TED Talk on it.

And the salsas? The green one flirted with me. The red one slapped me and called me “mijo.” Both were perfect.

Even the chips were next-level — crunchy, golden, and clearly not an afterthought. I would trust these chips with my secrets.

I’ve eaten in fancy restaurants that charged me $38 for a dish with the word “foam” in it — and I’d STILL choose this burrito 10 times out of 10.

Not the case with Vesuvio wood fired Pizza., owned by a native of Naples, Italy. The Margherita pizza is the real deal, good enough for Queen Margherita of Savoy. Raffaele Esposito would be honored by this version of his creation! The simplicity of this classic pizza is what makes it so special. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside (baked quickly at 900 degrees in a wood fired grill) yet wonderfully chewy on the inside, providing the ideal base for the toppings. The tomato sauce was fresh and vibrant, made from San Marzano tomatoes that burst with flavor. It had just the right balance of sweetness and acidity, enhancing every bite. The mozzarella cheese was creamy and melted beautifully, creating that irresistible stretch with each slice. Elevating the pizza was the fresh basil leaves. They added a fragrant, herbal note that complemented the other ingredients perfectly. A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil brought everything together, adding a rich, smooth finish. Overall, this Margherita pizza was a testament to the idea that sometimes, less is more. With just a few high-quality ingredients, it delivered a taste experience that was both simple and sublime.
