Took my wife on a date night and we both love German beer, as well as German food. We happen to be down in Sarasota area, but we live in Parrish. I waiter was excellent. He answered all our questions and we got our food in 15 to 20 minutes, which was great! The food was cooked to perfection. The overall place is casual. A great German lunch. Tasty and presented with enthusiasm. Good quantity and attractive prices. I had my first ever schnitzel sandwich and really enjoyed it. My wife chose a more familiar plate with red cabbage and potato salad. Very good.

Warning: if you're a German food snob like me, you might just find yourself singing 'Deutschlandlied' all the way to Grandpa's Schnitzel! After living in Germany for ten years, I thought I'd seen it all - but this place truly knows its Bratwurst from its Currywurst!
