Got takeout, the rolls were a bit small and just OK. It was fresh, just not as pretty as pictured. Also, my spicy tuna roll was not typical style where the fish is all chopped up. It was decent, again just not what I expected.
Once again this place has never disappointed me. Ever! And I have been coming here for about 17 years now and is my favorite restaurant in the world. I used to live in Sarasota but now I live in Daytona (3 hours away) and come down here at least every 2-3 months just for the food. Sushi is my favorite food and out of all the sushi I gave had in my life Ichiban Sarasota has the most fresh fish and ingredients. Also their rolls are unique and have a TON of flavor. Ahhh this restaurant is really really awesome! It isn’t an enormous place but is comfortabl! I suggest for alone people who wanna eat a delicious food, because you can seat on the “bar” and be served. If you like boba teas or special juices they also have a unit at the same building.
