“The food and service did not disappoint. My wife had the mahi tuna salad. It was excellent and crunchy as described on the menu I had scallops. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. Service was very good. Everything arrived timely hot, and the waiter did not hover have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and this is one of the better onesnot exceptionally expensive and in a mall but quite good food and service and I highly recommend.“

Our bartender was Dom and he was wonderful, always checking to make sure we had everything and everything was okay, there was a girl (sorry I didn’t get your name, but she was excellent too) the pizza was great and then burger we had was good also. “We love coming to 83 Tavern. We watch sports here but it’s not overwhelmingly loud. Perfect atmosphere, the food is incredible. Love the buffalo crisps. Can’t write a review without mentioning their martinis… amazing.

“Beautiful romantic upscale place is nearly all vegan with a few options for carnivores. This worked out well for my friend and me, and she loved all the things we tried. I have got to attempt making rice tots. Great wine list too. We liked it so much that we did a delivery a few days later, and it was amazingly fast. Very creative sushi. And we took home the blueberry cheesecake, so decadent. What a lovely downtown Sarasota has.“

“I ordered pickup for my first time today and the food did not disappoint. It was seasoned very well, and you receive a nice sized portion with great selections to choose from. My only issue is that on the website there are no calories listed for the menu items. I would love to know how much I’m consuming without having to weigh out each section of the meal myself. Mondays from 5:30 to 8:30 you’ll hear the whiskey-voiced singer-pianist Joe Thayer, who plays jazz standards, soft & classic rock, and a few pop tunes. “My husband and I recently had the pleasure if dining at Sophie’s, in Saks Fifth Avenue in Sarasota. What an amazing experience. The decor both inside and outside so chic. We had Matty as our waitress. She was spot on with top notch service and a wonderful personality. We started with a bread basket of assorted toppings, delicious. He had the Tai chicken. Well prepared and perfect with seasoning. I had on of the best burger ever. Cooked and seasoned perfectly at medium rare with tasty fries. The manager checked on us several times, a nice touch you don’t see anymore. If you happen to be in the area at the mall, I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.“

“Hotel food is usually not that great. However, we ate lunch here a couple times and it was really good food. I had a burger and a turkey sandwich with fries. The burger was juicy and the turkey sandwich was flavorful. I would definitely eat here again for convenience during meetings at the hotel.

The staff is friendly. However, getting service was slow even when they weren’t busy.“
