Ruth's Chris Steak House

Man was a big fan of Ruth Chris on 41 use to go there several times a month until the quality of the food took a nose dive i ordered the stuffed chicken and it was undercooked big time they sent it back for it to come back a second time time still pink in the inside and everyone knows that’s a big no no for chicken and that was just one of many different incidents that turned me away from that particular location.well I’ve going to the new location in Lakewood ranch and boi I tell yeah they reminded me of the good days again chicken cooked to perfection crispy juicy and just down right delicious 😋, crab cakes ribeye and the spicy shrimp perfectly prepared and served every time and I’ve been to this location about 15 times or so haven’t been to the 41 location in years and I hope there doing better over there but I for sure won’t ever find out personally because I’m going to this one every time 🫡

Party of 6 had reservations here for Father’s Day. This place targets certain nationalities. We were seated for more than 45 minutes and almost thru with our appetizers when an employee came over and asked me to remove my cap saying they have a NO HAT POLICY AND ITS BUSINESS CASUAL. I point out there is another older gentleman with a hat on as well as an another person with a tank top and shorts on. How is that business casual? We left immediately and didn’t finish our food. NO SIGNS POSTED AT THE DOORS l!!!WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF WE WERE TOLD BEFORE WE WERE SEAT.

We will never return to ANY RUTH CHRIS FRANCHISE.

Hate to leave this review because we like Ruth’s Chris traditionally. We ordered two medium rare steaks and one came out close to well done. The calamari also wasn’t that great. The manager came out and made it right, but very disappointing thinking we were going to get the normal Ruth’s Chris filets

We absolutely had the best experience for my birthday dinner! Our server Cristian was amazing!! We felt so comfortable and so welcome our food was delicious!! No complaints at all we will definitely be back !

Service was non existent and our waitress hardly did anything but talk to other people(I get better service from Flemings). My fillet had was edible with the center pieces being good but the edges tasted of garbage. Lava cake was dry and horrible tasting with no lava and the Carmel syrup and vanilla ice cream had a sour taste.
I am not going back

Jeremy and Zack knocked it out of the park with gold star service. The food was delicious. The filet was sizzling hot and melted in my mouth. Everything was great. Will definitely be back..

My Husband and I just got Married yesterday and this was both of our first time eating at Ruth Chris this evening for dinner. I must say I truly enjoyed every moment of it. From the Manager Sequoia to the Waiter Granville. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness of our Newlywed dessert. Thank you again so much! We will definitely be returning to enjoy another great meal.

Wanted so badly for it to be 5 stars across the board. Took my daughter for Valentine’s Day. 2 steaks, 1 salad, 1 side, 1 strawberry lemonade and 210.00 later including tip; we both left hungry. Steaks were the size of 2 golf balls. Side was size of my palm. For reference it was the 11 OZ Filet. Do better Ruth Chris, been a patron for 25 years; don’t know if I will be back.

We came here to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday and left extremely disappointed. I’ve been dining at Ruth’s Chris for over a decade and am a frequent customer at this location at least once every week, which makes this experience even more unacceptable.

There was a Mardi Gras party going on and it was clear the kitchen and management were distracted and unable to handle normal dinner service.

Our food took an excessive amount of time to arrive. When our steaks finally came out they were ice cold to the touch as if they had been sitting for a long time. We immediately sent them back.

They returned the exact same steaks which were now overcooked. I had ordered medium rare and had already cut into mine. I sent it back again. Shockingly they brought the same steak back once more. At that point it had been reheated multiple times and cut into twice so I refused it.

Instead of resolving the issue professionally the manager came over and was rude dismissive and confrontational. She insisted I cut into the steak in front of her so she could inspect it and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. It was handled with zero professionalism and was frankly embarrassing.

No real effort was made to correct the situation. I was not offered a fresh steak to eat during dinner and was only told one would be sent to go which was unacceptable given the circumstances. By then the evening was already ruined.

To make things worse when I got home and cut into the steak they sent to go it was essentially raw barely seared on each side. At that point it felt careless at best and disrespectful at worst.

Our bill was over $600 and the experience did not come anywhere close to matching the price or the Ruth’s Chris reputation.

I want to be clear our server BEN was outstanding. He was professional attentive and did everything he could. This failure was entirely on management and the kitchen.

For a restaurant that presents itself as a high-end steakhouse this experience was unacceptable

The filet's were very small and so was the side. $210.00 with tip for 2 people and we only had ice water; and my daughter had 1 Strawberry lemonade, literally left hungry; but I wanted to take my daughter out for Valentine's Day.

Celebrating my wife's birthday and they went above and beyond to make our experience wonder. On top of delicious food with great drinks and the cheesecake was to die for. Thank You Guys for helping me give her a bday to remember.
