I had a friend in town and we booked several reservations hoping to find the elusive food and ambiance we wanted. As soon as we pulled up to the restaurant we knew we had found the needle in the haystack. Not just good but wonderful service, food was incredible, and ambiance was classy.
Quality throughout. The bouillabaisse is a must try, and the foie gras in always very good, too. Flavor combinations are well thought out and contemporary, if not cutting edge. This is near the upper end of Sarasota dining.
This was a reunion dinner with my best childhood friend growing up in Sarasota. It has been 30 years since we've seen each other because of life. Everything was perfect about the evening. Chris Covelli the chef and owner greeted us and made the evening very special. We had champagne toasts and then I had his signature dish, bouillabaisse, which was exquisite.
