Reviews for The Overton
I’ve dined at the Overton numerous times and have had both good and bad experiences. The food has been good but not life changing. The biggest con is the pricetag, which is a bit high for what you get. The chicken sandwich and burger are good, but comparable to other options around town. The fries are yummy and not greasy, and the proportions are quite large. Also, not the best avenue for the summer when it’s miserable out and the location is partially outdoors.
The Overton is such a cool spot in Sarasota - and the vibe/aesthetic is just the beginning! The cheese burger is DELICIOUS, and the fries are insanely good. I had the avocado toast for lunch last week and it was epic - beautifully seasoned with a perfectly poached egg. They have great cocktails and a creative menu. We're lucky to have The Overton in SRQ!
