“This is a food truck in a parking lot = why I give the atmosphere 1 star. But definitely worth the stop for the FOOD and service! We had the shredded beef tacos ( she gave us extra ones!) and the carnitas tacos. Both were so good! Authentic with onions and cilantro with a side of lime.“

“It's rare I leave a review for a fast food restaurant but tonight I have to. Came by at about 1:45am sat at the drive through for a minute and a guy called me to the window. The gentlemen (forgot to ask his name) explained the system was down and that the GM told him to close up shop for the night. The guy, instead of just turning me away which would have been fine, says he can give me what they have left. I just worked a 12 hour shift so I was taking anything he had happily. This is the true definition of hospitality, he didn't have to, but chose to make the best of a bad situation and go out of his way to make sure I didn't leave empty handed. I just want to say I truly appreciate the gesture. This guy deserves a promotion, or a raise, or at the very least some kind of recognition for his service to the guest. Sorry I didn't catch the name but man I can't say enough for what you did tonight. Thanks for making my night and from now on this is my go to spot for my Beefy 5s.“

We had one of the lunch specials (tacos, rice and beans) that came out quickly. Everything was very tasty including the chips and salsa delivered before the meal. A week after Helene we were hard pressed to find something open or a full menu available or accepting credit cards...etc. Lolis isn't the most aesthetically pleasing venue, because it's a counter where you place orders and a very modest dining room where the food is brought to you when ready. On the front counter is a plastic utensil dispenser next to one delivering a napkin per pull.

If you don't care about any of that but love authentic Mexican food, then you're in luck! As I wrote, we had a large group and most ordered different items. All of us agreed the offerings were made from fresh, high quality ingredients. Even something as simple as queso and chips was great with corn, onion, a few other vegetables mixed in the cheese. It's a bit pricey for an establishment with its "look" however you'll get premium taste for that $12-$20 per person!

Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small because the property is a strip mall and there are other businesses; however some of the post-Milton damage may have obscured some spots.“

“I love good Mexican food. It seems like the only place I can find great Mexican food is the food trucks. The food is fantastic. We had a taco with every protein option they have. Each one was delicious. We also ordered a burrito which also tasted great but was pretty undersized. The hot sauce was absolutely fantastic. They give you a bottle of green and red hot sauce which is nice. Some places charge extra. They do offer seating but it’s under this small covering that has a tarp thrown over the top and along the sides. It would have been nice to not have to duck in order to get in the seating area and a few lights in there would make it feel like you weren’t in a homeless camp. Having said all of that, here are the main points: Amazing food, atmosphere needs improvement, increase portion size would be nice.“

“VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. They deceive people. In the photo they put a combo and then when serving it they say that it doesn't work like that. That's scam. I complained to them and they said it wasn't going like that and that's it. The combo came with Chips and guacamole. I spoke to the manager and she said they were NOT going to give them to me. But I assure you that McDonald's is missing some fries and so they do complain. They made me look bad with an American friend I brought. I'll never go back again.“

The wait was not long given the time. The waiter “Julian” I believe that was his name he was FANTASTIC! Really fantastic! He was kind, he checked in us often! His recommendations for my dish for the first time was great! His hospitality was awesome! Just want to say too, I recommend the Birria Tacos! & the Fajita Bowl with the Carnita! (“Julian” recommend carnita and I’m glad he did!) was delish both dishes! The meltdown melon margarita I had was delish too! Quite refreshing in this Florida heat! Also want to say the chips and salsa .. man that salsa was delish! Tipping my hat to you guys for that salsa! “Julian” our waiter also said they had a spicy version and I love spicy! He was awesome to bring us some when we asked for it. And it did NOT disappoint! It was so good! So for our first experience at this place I say we enjoyed it and enjoyed to food was delish!“
