“I officially order any dish from their menu with confidence that it won’t disappoint. I’ve tried over 5 different entrees so far and they all were rich in flavor and pretty authentic. Their late hours are also super convenient. It is a bit pricey though and the atmosphere to dine-in is *very* casual.“
“Thai food is by far by favorite food, so whenever I get to try a new Thai place I get excited. I had high hopes for this place, since the reviews were so high. I was blown away by the food! Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, you can find parking nearby on lots or street parking. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I came for dinner on a Wednesday. I was immediately seated and I was able to sit outside. My waitress was new but she did so well and was able to guide me since it was my first time. I ordered my favorite dish which is the Khao Sox Gai. The noodles, chicken, and curry work so well together. The curry was flavorful and dense. I enjoyed it so much. The portion was huge, I was able to talk half for lunch the next day. I am a fan, and I will keep coming back.“
“Tiny restaurant that packs a BIG punch ? of FLAVOR!! Make sure you come early before the rush hours happen, you’ll be standing and waiting to be seated BUT it’s so WORTH it! I had one of the best services in this restaurant I will definitely be back to try everything on the menu my words can’t describe how amazing this food is ! It’s just worth the leap of faith to take eating here!“
“The food was surprisingly good for a strip mall restaurant. We ordered some pad Thai, bbq ribs as well as sushi. The flavors hit the spot for sure. Our only complaint and recommendation is faster service - we waited a long time (15-20min) for our food even tho we were the only people in the restaurant. The kitchen needs to be staffed better.“
“My wife and I have enjoyed dining here for many years. Every time, Sam's (Owner) smile and hospitality are truly special! This time, my wife had the Massaman Curry; I had Crispy Duck (my usual; a house specialty). Everything was delicious, but my wife's dish was a feast for the eyes as well! Rich and round flavors, spice and richness in every bite! Cannot wait until our next visit - which will doubtless be very soon! Perhaps we will meet you there, and we are certain Sam will greet you warmly! Five stars!“
“20 years eating here for a reason. Food is great, sashimi is a good size portion for the price compared to other places. They’ve never messed up my order. Recommend the yummy yummy roll but everything is delicious here. If you order on their website there’s a discount. They deliver as well.Dietary restrictions: They are always very accommodating of any requests I have“
“This Miami gem created delicious and beautiful catering for our party! We hosted a bridal shower for 20+ people, and, at the bride-to-be’s request, we ordered sushi, spring rolls and other delicacies. The restaurant punctually delivered 2 phenomenal sushi boats (one was almost 3 feet long!) artfully arranged, with a stunning variety of fresh sushi and sashimi; The boats themselves were a work of art and the most gorgeous and delectable centerpieces a party could hope for. The guests were so impressed and we looked like rock star hostesses!!“
“My family has been eating here for years and we’ve never been let down. The food is absolutely delicious. Even my two picky girls love it. They always split the three-karat chicken. My personal favorite is the chicken massaman curry. I get that and my husband gets the pad thai and we share. The incredible food is matched by the service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We are treated like family. Highly recommend this gem in Kendall.“
“There's a wide selection of really tasty Thai and Japanese food on the menu. My server was very attentive and the food came out hot and on-time. I got the Thai fried chicken, the black sesame pork, and the fish cakes to start, then moved on to the Jasmine coconut egg noodles for the main course, and finally finished it off with the coconut sticky rice with mango. Everything was fantastic, especially the noodles. I will be coming back here.“
“It may seem unlikely to find great Thai cuisine inside a Kwick Stop, but this place defies expectations. The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plus, it's reasonably priced. Discovering hidden gems like this in the Grove, or anywhere else, is always a treat!“
“I love this place. It is small and located in perrine. My food has always Bern good. This time I had pho and it was great. Wish I had some extra Chilli oil. I did take out and my food was secured so not to leak. Be prepared to spend $20+ when you go. I have had some good rolls from here as well. It's located in a strip mall so easy to miss.“
“The food was fantastic and fresh, it kept us wanting more. Pineapple shrimp friend rice, Shrimp Spring rolls, Miso Soup and house salad ( that needed a little more ingredients ) only mixed lettuce and 2 tomotoes no big deal. But the peanut dressing was to die for. The Server was very pleasant and attentive.“
“This experience was amazing. The food, the waiters, the manager, the ambiance was extraordinary. Word can’t describe how this was. And how they made us feel. I am so glad we came here. Paula ( our waitress was amazing. I will be back definitely)“
“Food amazing. It is real Thai food. Delicious duck basil. Service was really nice. Ambiance, the section were you sit without shoes in the floor is recommended. Please if you go with children that don't know how to behave better you don't go, respect the people that work there and the other customers.“
“Food is amazing had the summer rolls 10 out of 10 had the Tom yum soup the best soup I have had in a very long time my son had chicken and rice and coming from a boy who does not eat noting my son had noting in that bowl by the time he was done highly recommended and will be back and back again“
“*Ordered delivery so this review is based on flavors and presentation only*Hands down this is in my top 3 for sushi favorites in Miami. The volcano was the best I’ve ever had. If you follow my reviews, you will notice I always order volcano rolls when we get sushi and can gauge how good a place is by this roll.If you try Blue Elephant, please please get the Volcano roll And you will Know what I mean. All 3 rolls were really good, the roll size was above average, and they don’t charge for eel sauce (always a plus for sushi). Also, the eel sauce was great quality, thick and sticky, and not too sweet. ?“
“Not a lot of gluten free options, maybe a dish or two. Also Pad Thai is not Gluten Free either due to the use of regular soy sauce. Aside from that the food is amazing because I did not go alone and everyone loved the dishes they ordered. They looked amazing and the staff was very friendly. Service was good.Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten free options, only the curry.“
“This is the 3rd Thai restaurant in this space. The number of items on their menu is really nice, it will take some time to try everything. The two take out orders I've placed (chicken Pad Gra-pao/ basil, chicken fried rice and Pad Thai) were all very good. I'm looking forward to eating my way through the rest of the menu.“
“An incredible and immense experience into bangkok's cuisine and ultimathe art of the culinary genius. From acquaint and nostalgic atmosphere to a world-class dedicated sushi chef and service that has no complaints to offer. And we'll stop at nothing to get you what you need.Don't think twice, come get it“
“I would give a 5☆ service only to Chris! He always goes above and beyond, very respectful and attentive. The food is excellent and they have very reasonable prices. The best on sushi. And the salad with kimchi sauce is the best. We go to this place at least twice a month.“
“Went here with a group of 8. The food and service was excellent. We went at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday so it was very slow.I ordered the small sashimi platter (14 pieces for $24). I also ordered a green papaya salad for the table. Some tried it who had never had it before and they loved it. My friends ordered the ginger chicken, the red curry chicken, the mushroom and chicken soup, and the dragon roll. Everyone ate every bite. It was excellent.I would definitely go back again. Very reasonable prices and excellent food.“
“Surprisingly good Thai restaurant, several dishes we ordered taste great, such as curry fish (tilapia), crisp duck, etc, all in decent portion for an adult. Waiter recommended chef's special (Tani angels?) also taste great, scallops and seafood are flavorful, tender and juicy, amazing! I will surely revisit next time I pass by. Highly recommend.“
“I was a bit nervous ordering here through Ubereats. I was really craving Thai and didn’t want to be disappointed. I’m familiar with authentic Thai food from visiting Thailand and I know Asian food is usually a hit or miss in Miami but I was pleasantly surprised. Pork dumplings were good. The drunken noodles were savory and great in flavor. I’m happy they offer pork as a protein as some places don’t but My complaint is the pork was over cooked. The mango sticky rice was 10/10!“
“The search for mind-blowing Thai food in the greater Miami area continues. Lotus Garden is not bad; it's decent food. But it's not great. It's not someplace I would go to a second time. I realize that the Miami area is predominantly Latin/Hispanic, but a person would still think that phenomenal Thai food in a city this size would not be hard to find. No doubt there is some exceptionally delicious Thai food somewhere around here, but I have not found it yet. I always go with some sort of fried rice for my first visit to any Thai restaurant, and this was no exception. I would have preferred pineapple fried rice, but that was not an option. So I went with regular old pork fried rice. The list of ingredients was rather sparse, and the flavor was just OK. It needed a good bit of Sriracha sauce and pepper powder to liven it up. On the bright side, the staff was very pleasant; no complaints about them.“
“Ate here for the first time last night after several friends recommended and I must say it was very good.Food was excellent and fresh...made on the spot to order and timely.Employees were friendly and attentive to my questions being it was my first time here.DEFINATELY RECOMMEND to visit them when in the area and I will be back as a regular...saw some other dishes...cant wait to try.“

“My friend and I walked in and ordered take-out, as it was pouring with rain and we needed to get back to our hotel. Quick, friendly service, and very good prices for the size of the meals. I ordered Thai green curry chicken, my usual go-to, and it was so incredibly spicy and piping hot — I loved it! And it was even better once I’d let it sit for about an hour and allowed all of the curry sauce to soak into the rice. Mmmm. My friend opted for a cashew chicken dish but unfortunately she wasn’t overly impressed. She said it was a bit bland, though it was definitely hot and fresh. I’d return!“
“Come in for the best Thai food in Miami! After a long absence, I was finally able to return and... I was away too long. This is still the BEST Thai food in the city, no question. After all this time, they are even better.Having tried a large portion of the menu, my family and I haven't had a bad dish yet. (Thai Tea is amazing!)They are also great on heat control, so if you like it wild or mild... they got you.“
“My husband and I are regulars at Suvi Thai, captivated by its delightful Thai cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. A significant part of our enjoyment is thanks to Anothai, an outstanding waiter who consistently goes above and beyond. Suvi Thai, coupled with Anotai's excellent service, has become our cherished dining destination. Highly recommended for an all-around wonderful experience!“

“Thai & Sushi offers a delightful fusion of Thai and Japanese cuisine. During my visit, I indulged in their shrimp tempura roll, California roll, chicken teriyaki, and Thai donuts:Shrimp Tempura Roll:Spectacular! Crispy tempura shrimp, creamy avocado, and refreshing cucumber blend perfectly. Each bite is a harmony of textures and flavors, enhanced by tangy soy sauce and wasabi.California Roll:A classic done right. Fresh imitation crab, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber create a perfect balance of flavors. Toasted sesame seeds add a subtle nuttiness, elevating this timeless dish.Chicken Teriyaki:Though not sushi, the chicken teriyaki deserves praise. Tender grilled chicken glazed in luscious teriyaki sauce, served with stir-fried veggies and fluffy rice. Each bite is a savory delight.Thai Donuts:Ending on a sweet note, the Thai donuts are a must-try. These fluffy, golden treats are dusted with powdered sugar and served with a side of sweetened condensed milk for dipping. The combination of crispy exterior and soft, pillowy interior is irresistible, making it the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal.In summary, Bonsai Thai & Sushi delivers an unforgettable dining experience with impeccable quality, inventive flavors, and attentive service. “Tom Yum noodle soup was authentic, spring rolls left a lot to be desired, gyoza was a bit disappointing. Server was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. Stick to any Thai dish and they'll do it right and it will be perfect.“
“My favorite little Thai place in Miami! It's a hole in the wall that's family owned and operated. It is carry out only, but they also have a delivery option. Parking is a little difficult with only street parking available & the scooter bros are always taking up the spaces. My favorite dishes are the pad thais & panang or red curry. If you can't have spicy just let them know not to add any extra spice. I tried the calamari once and was not a fan of the texture, I don't recommend it. Crab ragoon is great as an app?“
“Malakor Thai Isaan in Coral Gables, Miami is a gem for those craving authentic Northern Thai cuisine. The flavors are spot-on, taking you straight to the streets of Northern Thailand. Highlights include the fresh papaya salad and spicy laab. With top-notch ingredients and genuine recipes, this spot nails the essence of Northern Thai food. Don't miss out if you're in search of an authentic taste of Thailand in Miami.“
“My brother and I come here time to time and probably not often enough. Every time I go I try a different Sushi on the menu and every one of them is amazing. This is the best sushi in South Florida.Today I had the volcano, and it was fire?!Also, thier Thai Menu is pretty good.“
“Arrived 35 minutes to close, and it was empty. Maybe the manager ( older man) told me "they were about to" when I asked if they were. Seems that man was always ready to leave (if so, change closing time to 10 or 9 or 8pm :).But my waitress saved the day! She waved me in towards a table, I ordered food, and it came quickly. It was a delicious, perfect experience. IMHO, that lady should be the manager.Anyway great thai food experience and I'll go back when in the area.“
“Honestly they have a salad that is amazing,Sashimi salad ? or something like that but in overall Very fresh raw food.Of course the sushi is great and the Pad Thai. The only thing that makes me feel like ? is that the beers are not cold enough for me.“
“Excellent Thai and Japanese restaurant in Coral Gables. This restaurant is located right across the University of Miami and nearby the metro station so it is very accessible. The ambience is moderately lit, perfect for a date night. Service was quick and waiters were friendly. I got the pad see eiew from here and the noodles and seasoning was good. I would come here again and try other things on the menu!“
“High-quality sushi, delicious but not very big, a little on the pricey side but very good. Service was very attentive and on point. Had several dishes not seen on other sushi Thai restaurants. My wife had a fried chicken dish. Chicken was a little dry and not too much sauce to help it out. Overall, it was very good.“
