Leroy's Cafe

First time we have been to this place since we moved to St. Augustine. The outside of the old house leads you to believe it is to be passed by. Waitress was awesome other waitress even helped us out. This tasty place is a hidden gem amongst all the cookie cutter garbage popping up in St Augustine. It's refreshing to have an old school standby for a good breakfast.

Cozy and quaint breakfast restaurant right off the main drag in St. Augustine. A few different seating areas including a screened in front porch. The food was delicious, especially the powdered sugar French toast, but it took a while to be served after ordering. I caught them on an off day, with a call-out or two and a busy Monday morning. But it still took close to 45 minutes to get my food, which was just too long.

If you're on this end of town and looking for breakfast or lunch...and/or want a home-cooked type of meal, then this is your place. The sign on the outside says "Not your average Hole in the Wall" and that about sums it up. Nothing fancy, just good service and a good meal. The prices for the portions are fair and spot on.
