I don't know why they have bad reviews. People obviously in Florida don't know what good pizza is. This is the closest to NY pizza I have had in Florida in 30 years. It was really well made and the employee was clearly extremely busy yet treated myself and my family extremely nice. I wish there were more locations.
This Villa Italian Kitchen is located in the Canoe Creek service plaza along the Florida Turnpike at Mile Post 229. You have a choice of several restaurants located in the plaza - burgers, Italian, healthy, donuts and more. There is plenty of seating and also plenty of parking. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained for a service plaza. The prices are just a tad higher than normal. We had a couple of slices of pizza and those did hit the spot.
Great stop on the way through mid-Florida, never have been disappointed. Wonderful Pizza that I have great memories taking my grandkids too! Always a pleasure getting to dine here with family.
