We popped in as we were walking around the Central Arts District checking out the murals downtown. We only had an appetizer but the hand crafted expresso martini the bartender Zach made was exquisite!
We had a 75th birthday party on a Sat. Night. The owners and staff were helpful, courteous, caring, and the food, drink and dessert were as always excellent. We have been going there since they opened and we have always felt welcomed and treated like family. A very Italian feeling Taverna. One of our favorite in St Pete. Thank you for your help in making our celebration so special.
I referred two of my colleagues here tonight… and they were told they couldn’t be accommodated because they had a toddler and the manager in front of my colleagues said to the host “where is the baby going to sit.” I am speechless.
They were forced to leave…. Because the staff made them feel bad for bringing in their child and insinuated they couldn’t be accommodated because they had a child.
