I love Italian Mia. I've been going there for at least 10 years. The food is amazing. However service suffered when they changed donors a few years ago. It suffered again recently and now they've had their 2nd price hike in a short period of time and I think they've priced themselves out of my market. I already drive all the way across town to get them because I think they have the best spaghetti. However $14 for a plate of spaghetti is just too much. This is plain marinara no mean no anything no extras and it's $14. It's just too much.

We’ve been frequenting Italia Mia for years. Tonight we had a terrible experience. Our pizza was undercooked, the garlic knots were burned to a crisp, the chicken Parmesan was thick and tasted bad. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and paid extra for it, received spaghetti with red sauce and a side of Alfredo sauce. They didn’t have the calamari we ordered, and never mentioned it. So when we got home we thought it was forgotten. So sad, this used to be such a good place to eat. Won’t be back!

Food are sososo good higly recommended restaurant

I have been going here for years, and tonight was the worst experience. We ordered the manicotti wrapped with eggplant. The first batch came out, no manicotti, no eggplant. Just ricotta cheese and mozzarella. Second batch came out same thing, but with eggplant on top. It was so strange to have it happen twice, it made no sense. So we left.

Austin was very accommodating with a special request I had with our pick up order! Great Customer Service! Custom orders welcomed. Calling again next week; Bringing Dinner to the in laws. Letting Italia Mia do the cooking. My picky husband loves this restaurant. Have a glass of wine there or check out the full bar next door with pool tables and darts while they make your walk in order. Or have delivered.

Just opened on Central and it's amazing. Apparently real Italian gelato with most ingredients coming from Italy! I have sampled a few gelato flavors and they were devine. They had some vegan options and dark chocolate was great. My favorite was pistachio and cherry flavors. One with the hazelnuts was great as well, but I don't remember the name. I saw they had soft serve frozen yogurt and granita. I will have to try those next time. They gave me sample of vegan cake, which was out of this world. They even had a vegan macaron with lemon filling that flavor was quite good for being vegan. The owner was baking little wafers that they put on your gelato right in front of us. They also bake cones in different flavors. The chocolate fountain was flowing. I tried decaf latte and was good as well. Can't wait to taste their crepes when they will start baking them.

We used to frequent this restaurant many years ago, moved away and was in the area and came back for a visit.. Really disappointed, with our take out order. We asked for olives & artichoke hearts to be eliminated from Antipasta Salad (they put them in) Meatball sub was bland, meatballs did not have much flavor and Calzone was meh. Not what it once was, and will definitely not go back. So sad, this used to be the "spot" for Italian in NE St. Pete. Not anymore.

The server did great considering she was the only server. I'm a bartender and I understand the shortage in help everywhere. The food was plan ,bland ,and old. I will not being returning.

Florida Department of Health needs to shut this place down. It is disgusting and dirty. No air conditioning. New owners. All the previous employees quit probably because they weren't treated properly. The employees that are there now look horrible. We waited two hours for food. Guy making the pizza was smoking while making pizza. The utensils, napkins, table were filthy. One young man waiting on 8 tables without wearing a mask. No employees wearing a mask and no air conditioning. They are spreading COVID here. Please be careful. This place is not how it used to be with the previous owners. More concerning is how shady dangerous looking people come in the back door. One guy dressed in all black just stood in the middle of the restaurant and stared like he was looking to harm people. It's not safe to be in this restaurant. I have felt safer eating in the Bronx New York than this place. It's a disgusting disaster. I will never go back here and I don't want my family going to this place ever again.

Wow, I have had great service and the food was awesome every time I have ordered including recently. I always order take out . The only thing I noticed was all the sudden the menu got smaller and the hours are unpredictable. Hope they get it together soon or St. Pete is going to loose one of the best Italian Restaurants in the world. Where's Tony when you need him!!!!!

Husband and I went to Italia Mia today to have late lunch and was never so disgusted by this restaurant. Our food order was taken, but waited over a hour for a cheese pizza that never came and was never even started. I ordered veal and peppers which came with salad, bread and spaghetti. They brought the veal and peppers about 45 minutes later but never got the spaghetti , bread or salad. . When asked about it was told they had no spaghetti made and bread was available but none was ever given to us. Waited another 20 minutes and still no pizza or spaghetti or bread. Then there were also nats every where on tables. It was filthy on tables. We tried moving several times, but they were everywhere. I'm taking 15 to 20 on our table. I finally told girl who took our order that we were not staying and we were leaving. There were other customers that did the same after we left. Staff were going outside to make calls or smoking. If you tried to ask a question they ignored you. I will never go their again. The Health Dept should check this place out.

The service was not the problem it was the food. Ive been going here for years but not again. The rools served were burnt and flat. The butter was in plastic container with not enough for one roll. Eggplant Parmesan was burnt and they had no black olives only green. The sauce was diffeent it tasted frozen. They had no idea how to use the credit card machine. There has to be a reason all the help walked out.
