Caribbean Soul is a hidden gem and small family-owned restaurant in historic Starke, Florida. It serves Caribbean food with a Southern flare. The service is great, friendly, sweet, delightful, and personable, starting from the moment customers walk in the door. The atmosphere is nice.
The food is extra good, delicious, fantastic, and awesome. Portions are good and the meat is tender and flavorful. Specific praised dishes include the brown stew chicken, oxtail, and fried pork chops. Sides like yams, plantains, mac and cheese, greens, and white or yellow rice are also delicious and slamming. The homemade honey mustard sauce for the big juicy wings is noted as the best. They also offer a good selection of different drinks and have a weekly red snapper on Friday.
