“We’re always on the lookout for good BBQ. We’ve tried all the local BBQ spots but never really enjoyed them. We’ve always enjoyed Lickie Stickie BBQ at the farmers markets, but they were never our go-to BBQ spot, as they didn’t have a store front. But that’s about to change, as they have a store front. Lickie Stickie BBQ will be the only BBQ spot we dine at. We dined at their location off 44th Street today and it was the best experience we’ve had. We ordered a smorgasbord of things: brisket, jerk pork, smoked pastrami, kids hot dog, kids grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, fries, coleslaw, fried corn bread and lemonade. Everything was delicious! The service was exceptional. The entire staff went above and beyond for us, especially for our three young children. Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food! Give them a try, you’ll be highly pleased with your experience!“

“Not a pleasant experience. Our server was mean and not helpful. She did not help me to order instead told me that I ordered to much food and that I will have to pay for the l food that I was not going to eat in an All- you- can- eat. Very unsatisfying experience,there were flies all over our table.“

“Staying at a close hotel and looking for something good and that delivered. Found Li'l Reds. Super glad we did. Food was great and portions just right. Had the ribs/chicken combo with beans and rice and fries. It is not often that I dont put sauce on my ribs, I didn't tonight!! Ribs were top notch, wish I had more!! “Stopped in for lunch today and had the pleasure of being in the restaurant during the playing of the National Anthem. The restaurant stopped in its tracks and everyone stood and honored the flag as it was being shown in all of the tvs. Many of the customers joined signing and as soon as it was over it was back to business as usual. The food was excellent. Some of the best BbQ I’ve ever eaten.“

“The bbq is very good, and the atmosphere is first responders and military- public service.
You place your order, then choose a place to sit. They yell out your name when it is ready, and you pick it up on a tray. I like the pulled pork sandwich, my husband's favorite is the moist brisket. They have good sides, like green beans with bacon, fries, corn bread, mac and cheese.
They have 4 sauces to choose from.
2 we like, 2 not so much. The meats are very good even without a sauce.
A little pricey, but worth it!

“Decided to try out Jerk Guy Ian after reading some reviews. The reviews were not lying when they said the best jerk chicken in south Florida! I got the jerk chicken plate spicy and the flavor was on point! It has a nice kick but it’s not overwhelmingly spicy. Next time I would probably ask for extra sauce on the chicken because it was so delicious and packed with flavor!! I will for sure be coming back! Thank you Ian for the great food and service!“

“I have had some BBQ in my day and nothing, and I mean nothing, approaches the taste and texture of Wholly Smoke BBQ.

I catered a lunch for my office staff and colleagues of 16 people, and dealing with the owner Phara was such a pleasure. Planning the event was simple and easy. I told Phara what I wanted - sliced brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis ribs - Phara suggested the sides to go along with the entrees and voila it was done.

In sum, the food was beyond delicious, the staff punctual, reliable, and courteous in making the delivery to my office, and what really blew my mind, the price was incredibly affordable, which I was able to pay online. The best deal on four wheels.

Wholly Smoke, however, is not a food truck. Phara has a restaurant where you can sit down and enjoy a meal or takeout for eating at home or with friends. For these reasons I give Phara and Wholly Smoke five stars“

The atmosphere is charming and cozy, the time stopped several years ago
The wedge salad is one of the best I’ve ever tried, ordered the brisket plate and with this can eat 2 persons for $30 bucks
The server was a little bit upset but then a very kind gentleman explained to me that they just closed the kitchen and also the restaurant was already closed but I can stay there and enjoy my food (that was amazing)
I was a little bit ashamed because of that, otherwise knowing that were about to close I would never walked in
BTW I went for the ribs and were sold out, so I’ll be back to give a try soon (and in regular hours)“

“I’m a life long Maiden fan From the UK. I was working near by and called in for a few drinks. Staff were fantastic. Great to see the Maiden memorabilia and talk to like minded fans. The restaurant itself could do with a lick of paint and maybe hang some of maidens guitars instead of the cheap guitars hanging up. “Excellent Chinese restaurant in Broward/Fort Lauderdale. Food is authentic , great flavors, they have American popular Chinese dishes and also Chinese dishes. I enjoy the Cantonese steak, eggplant dishes, pan fried noodles, bbq duck and pork , fried rice.

“Our family has been looking for a new bbq place, and we found it! Large menu, good prices, hot and fresh food. I'm allergic to pineapple, and most bbq sauce has pineapple in it. I ordered a full slab of ribs, sauce on the side. I was pleasantly surprised that even with no sauce the ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious. We will order again and HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“

“This place keeps showing up as a place to try. I decided to see what the fuzz was all about. It is not a restaurant as in the way we are used too. It's a take out place. It is small inside and it gets crowded. You don't want to eat inside. There are a few chairs inside but they are for waiting, not eating. The waiting is not long. The menu is posted on a wall and there is a counter where you can view some of the things the place has. The food is sold by the pound and it's cash only here.
I read some of the reviews. They all recommended the crispy pork. I got some and lived it. It was crispy. The honey roasted pork, I thin that is what I got. I liked too and I got other things that I can't name now. It's a great place to try new things.
The service is efficient. I suggest you know what you want before stepping up to the counter. The counter moves fast.“
