“I stayed at the Blue Moon hotel across the street when I visited Miami back in FEB 2022 and tried this bakery out as I love sweets. I do not recall what sandwich I had besides it having tomatoes, Prosciutto and arugula but it was really good for being so simple. However, the reason for my review was their fruit tarte. One of the best I have tried. If you are passing by grab one!! I believe on their menu it is called "The beautiful Fruit Tart"“

“food and pastries are nothing special but it is still good- at least you didn't pay for something you'll hate. service is great, the two that were working the register and the person in the kitchen were accommodating for diet restrictions. i had iced coffee and i like that they had crushed ice rather than cubes.
they advertise a combo meal for $14.95 and the picture shows what looks to be iced coffee, a cookie, and a dessert. but it's misleading because the combo comes with water or soft drink- not coffee. iced coffee would be a great idea for an actual combo meal, at least earlier on in the day. i know they're just adding already brewed coffee and ice in a cup.“

“Went with the family for a late lunch/early dinner for Miami Spice. The food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. Our server Tefi was so sweet and provided some excellent recommendations. The manager Carolina was also amazing and we enjoyed the personable hospitality.“

“It was a Saturday morning the first time I came to Caracas Bakery and I gotta be honest, I was so frustrated as it was so busy, I decided to leave and dine somewhere else, just because I didn’t want to wait in line.

I decided to give them a second chance, this time it was after a beach day early in a Saturday afternoon, there were some empty chairs this time, and it couldn’t go any better. I loved it!!

I had their flat white, perfectly balanced and with the right intensity coming through, priced pretty competitively.

I got to sample their turkey egg croissant and the breakfast sandwich. They were both great, but that breakfast sandwich was next level.

I couldn’t resist to have a dessert before leaving so I went for the cream Danish, it was delicious. The guava and cheese danish is on my list for next time.

All in all, I loved it and will repeat it pretty soon.“

“This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!!

Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent.

The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait!

Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich.

We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol.

I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped.

Very rarely you see an actual bakery in south Florida making their bread in house 😍 I got a fig bread loaf which you can only get in these types of bakeries. The fig loaf was a perfect addition to my charcuterie board. I ordered some from Bakerly's website and was blown away. Delivery was fast; the crepes were incredibly fresh. The flavors were sweet, but not too sweet. Just the right balance. I randomly ordered pancakes as well, and to be honest, I enjoyed those even more. I regularly purchase the crepes and pancakes, and order the brioche bread as I need it.“
