This place is an absolute gem.

We shared several dishes and every single one was better than the last. The cigars, arayes, challah schnitzel sandwich, shawarma on laffa, and the knafeh were all phenomenal.

As Israelis, we know Mediterranean food, and this was simply outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care.

The entire experience was amazing from start to finish.

I also want to give a special shout-out to Ryan, our server. Ryan was absolutely incredible. You can genuinely tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in where he works. Every recommendation he gave us was a perfect choice. He checked on us throughout the meal, always made sure our drinks were full, kept us smiling and laughing, and treated us with exceptional kindness and professionalism.

Ryan was a huge part of what made this experience so memorable. Employees like him are hard to find, and he deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does. He represents your restaurant in the best possible way.

“I like this place a lot. The food is served impeccably. Large menu of authentic Turkish food. Reasonable prices and the most important very nice owners (Tuba’s brother). The tea they serve is black tea from Sri Lanka (it has some bergamot hint ). Its a true killer. I highly recommend them.“

Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Venue is very pretty with a great glass ceiling, there are a few small businesses around.

We ordered the Mediterranean salad and the pistachio encrusted salmon and shared both. They were both excellent. We did not try the cocktails. We would definitely go back and recommend it.“

“I really enjoyed Motek. Overall, everything was great: the food was delicious, the hummus was excellent, the service was very good, and I really liked the concept and atmosphere of the restaurant.

The only downside was the lamb shawarma. I expected the meat to be very tender and soft, but unfortunately it was a bit overcooked and dry. That is the reason I am giving 4 stars.

“I’ve been going to Taula when two young chefs opened it. Loved their concept of fresh meats cooked on vertical spits! You had the choice of yummy options but their best were crispy potatoes! Then ownership changed but fortunately still kept recipes going for the options and sauces, thank goodness.

However, when I went today, the options like Eggplant wasn’t available for the Mediterranean box but I wasn’t told. I looked at the list of options for Mediterranean box on the revolving screen and that’s how I discovered it. And list was different from printed menu copy. So, just be aware.

They still give you tons of everything as well as chicken. Chicken and other meats were precooked in a heated container. There’s enough for two people for $17, not bad for Miami!“
