“The people working especially lately, have been so kind and even conversational with us when we are sitting at the bar. I’m kinda picky about coffee so I always order the Kraken and it’s usually perfect and very tasty. Their blueberry muffins are a bit pricey but super tasty when they warm it up for you. I would go there every time if they were closer to home. Beats Starbucks, lucky goat, and red eye for sure.“

“The Blue Tavern is a true gem in the Tallahassee Community. Carrie (owner) and Heather (bartender) are welcoming, caring, inclusive. This place has the best music in town on a consistent basis. Carrie works hard to support the community; it is like home. The "regulars" are genuine folx and the musicians and performers are great, too. Please support and enjoy! Food is great, too. Highly recommend.“

“The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. They will steer you towards vegan options without missing a beat. The The egusi mushroom stew with fufu was delightful. The Oasis Nile-ade was sweet and delicious. The botique area has so many wonderful things for sale. Don't let the small size of this restaurant fool you: this is the place to go when you're in Tallahassee.“

“The food is amazing!!! I got several different items including the chocolate clean crunch(amazing), a flatbread with bbq chicken (amazing) and several frozen meals. I haven’t tried the frozen meals but everything else is amazing. The prices were really good for what you get also.“

“I usually don't go to Starbucks but it was on the way to work and I needed to hurry up and get there. The server was extremely friendly, however, I did get the wrong sandwich which I didn't discover until I got to work. Luckily it was something that I enjoyed so I went ahead and ate it but unfortunately for Joseph, I got his sandwich lol. Great food, great service, and good coffee!“

“Excellent variety of tea options. Really happy with what they have to offer in terms of loose leaf teas and other types. Though, they may not offer any decaf alternatives, I could be wrong about this though. My only other complaint might be the music that they play which... Doesnt fit the aesthetic too well, but thats more of a nitpick.“

“it’s always a great visit for us when we are in Tallahassee. The atmosphere is cozy even when it’s busy, the menu is excellent with many healthy options and there’s even a nice outdoor patio if you just want to watch the people walk by. it brings back memories of when it was our “go to” place when we attended school at FSU.“
