“Great food, but the pricing and tipping setup need work
My son and I stopped in for lunch at the FIVE GUYS in Midtown Tallahassee (Thomasville Rd), and the food did not disappoint. We both ordered large bacon cheeseburgers—mine loaded with all the condiments, his completely dry—and both were fantastic. The fries were also delicious, and I appreciated the free peanuts at the table while we waited for our made-to-order meals.
That said, while the food easily deserves 5 stars, the overall experience falls a bit short. The pricing is on the high side (2 burgers, one order of fries, and two drinks), and the tipping prompt at the register felt a little out of place considering you're placing and picking up your own order. Still, the quality of the food and quick service made it a worthwhile visit.“
“Greeted upon getting to the counter, order taken promptly. My burger was overall very good and the fries excellent. Only drawback with fries dumped in bag with the burger is the wrapping gets a bit greasy. Of course they give you enough napkins cause it can be very juicy. Overall: Happy“
