“drove to Tallahassee from Valdosta, GA, for a shopping trip, and a good friend recommended El Rey Tacos & Beer. I’m so glad I stopped by! This place instantly transported me back to Mexico. I had the best torta I’ve ever tasted, the bread was perfectly fresh and soft, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It’s hard to find something this authentic back home in Valdosta. I also tried their aguas frescas, and they were incredibly refreshing and flavorful. My 10-year-old daughter ordered tacos and surprised me by eating four! She said they were the best tacos she’s ever had.This place is absolutely worth the drive. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone craving true Mexican flavors!“

“I highly recommend that you stay away from this establishment. After being a regular customer for years, I was turned away rudely a full hour before they were supposed to close. I mentioned that them deciding to close an hour early and affecting my plans didn’t make me want to come back and I was told “OK, goodbye.” I have never felt less appreciated as a longtime customer. Correction…a former longtime customer.“

This will be the first time we have ever been told it's a 8.00 upcharge to sub fried chicken strips for the grill chicken in the pasta for my autistic son who eats a certain way. Im writing this before the food is delivered so the food review is not accurate. The server is attentive and the soup and salad came out first, which is a great.“

“There was a Thursday deal at Tijuana Flats, so I went to the one on Thomasville yesterday. I ordered a few entrees, a dessert, and a large queso with chips. Much to my chagrin, I got home (15 minutes away) and found my queso was missing. To some, this may not seem like a big deal, but to queso-loving folks, I was disappointed. I called the store and asked what could be done. I got the option to be put on a list and get a free large queso when I returned or get a refund on the queso (just under $5). I chose the refund, got the server's name, and went about my business. Many times, when this type of interaction occurs, nothing happens. Most times I remember to follow up if the business forgets (wasting more time on my part). However, this time was FAR different. Not only did I get a refund, but I was refunded for my entire meal! This was a pleasant surprise and more reason for me to continue to visit this business. Thank you for making me a more frequent customer of Tijuana Flats!“

Allen (I think is his name), Nicole, and one other woman who was working (I didn’t catch her name), were all amazing and deserve raises. They make every meal there the BEST. To the store managers: you have an amazing team with those three. 🤍“

“I absolutely love Moe's on Mahan in tallahassee. They always get my order correct and it's absolutely delicious. I usually order online. I love this because I can select what time I wish to pick it up and it's always ready and warm when I get there.“
