I love Toasty Taiyaki! The taiyakis, drinks, and snacks are always delicious. The service is awesome. I love that they are partnered with Common Ground Books (another local fav of mine) so I don’t have to chase them all over Tallahassee any more (but I gladly would). I walked in on a Dungeons & Dragons game in the middle of the shop but I was greeted warmly. I was pleased to see that three of four of the daily flavors were vegan and the fourth vegetarian. All three were delicious. The Joja was a very savory flavor and the other two sweet and delicious.
Delicious!! If you go absolutely try the smore's it's so so good!! Staff is very welcoming I'll definitely be returning!!

Toasty Taiyaki is one of the best, community-focused eats in town. The team is incredible, welcoming, and friendly, offering always great service. They operate a food truck and have opened a cozy café inside Common Ground Books, making it more convenient. The flavor combos are delicious, with a fun variety for everyone. Everything on the menu is a must-try and fresh made every time. Favorite flavors include the s’mores taiyaki, the mag mozz taiyaki with pepperoni, the toastyaki, and the mag lab. One option is like a sloppy joe and is vegan. They serve lattes in partnership with Foxtail. The café is a great opportunity to sit down, read the artists' newspaper, get some gachapon prizes, or play games. It is a 10/10 experience and a great place to bring friends.
