“Wow was i wrong.....

After many years of ordering chinese food from Ming Wah i just found out its really a Chifa restaurant. Sooo i finally went and sat for lunch. People skip the chinese food side of menu. Its good but not great. BUT with Chifa comes a soup menu. I just had the best wonton house special soup. Dark rich broth with dumplings, pork, shrimp, vegetables and the ginger was a perfect match. Of course i had to add some hot oil. Simple but just delicious. Please Ming Wah let the world know you not just another chinese takeout. You offer so much more. Next time some chifa rice dishes.“

“Phenomenal food quality and service. There are so many options: different sashimi, toppings, and dressings. Tuna, cabbage, cucumber, and carrots with wasabi cream dressing was one of my favorite combinations. The portion size is very satisfying. For the price, you cannot get a fresher, tastier poke bowl than this. In terms of the environment, this is a small store, but I really love the vibe and décor. Crave is a great place for family and friends. Looking forward to my next visit.“

“First time going to Kubo and the food, service, and atmosphere was all great. I had the Hawaiian Poke bowl, and my partner had to the Unagi (Eel) Poke bowl. We were both very happy and satisfied with our main dish. The miso soup was little over salted but a splash of water calmed that down real quick. I ordered an app of Tako Yaki which I also enjoyed, just wished they gave 6 instead of 5 balls lol.
My friend that was there as well ordered like the fried chicken bao bun. It was so good she placed a 2nd order after getting her main dish of Shoyu Ramen, which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Had to loosen a button after that meal
We do plan on coming back to again to try more of their great food and maybe even get a dessert because I saw on the menu there was a basque cheesecake that I really wanna try 😅“

“The food was amazing!! Tuna Tartare Dip was delicious. I don't normally like Taro chips, but these were so good with the tuna. Loved the addition of mango. The orange ribs were fall off the bone in a sticky, tangy orange sauce. Again, so good. We also had the Kubo Fried Rice. Delicious mix of fried rice with onions, chicken, jumbo shrimp, pineapple chunks, and cashews. It's a huge portion, so lunch tomorrow. It was outstanding. I'm so full!! The service was great. Very attentive. I'm really impressed with Kubo. I had heard wonderful things, and it hit the mark.“

“The moment we walked in we were greeted with the most wonderful greeting by Tan. He was attentive, joyful, welcoming and showed so much excitement for our arrival just as if we were family coming to visit. Our waitress Mimi treated us just the same. Her service made us feel so comfy and welcome and she was also very attentive. When she introduced herself she even asked us for our names. Such a nice personal touch! The sushi rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious and fresh and the drinks were fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was bright, clean and spacious. And to top it off as we were walking toward the door to leave standing there was Mimi and Tan sending us off with their smiles and hugs. Tan, you are such a bright, joyful light! This was our first time here and will definitely not be the last.“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. “Small, quaint spot with friendly staff. Prices are more reasonable than most lther thai places I been to, like $2.99 for thai iced tea, $15-17 for curries, etc. but portions are plentiful.“

My favorite dishes are the panang curry and the green curry, but everything we've tried on the menu has been great. Their Japanese dishes are wonderful too!
