“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. “Laser Wolf is a great local "Stranger Things" themed bar serving up a wide variety of cold brewskis. The walls are filled to the brim with nostalgic memorabilia from the yester years of the 00's. They frequently have food trucks that visit, ranging from tasty smashy crispy burgers, to their own fantastic taco express food truck (best hot sauce!) and even a legendary Geisha master shows up every now and then. Only negative thing is that they never have Sam Adams. Music could be better too. No reggaeton. Still 5 stars I think.“

Kid-friendliness: The bundtinis were a perfect substitute for the standards mini cupcakes for a class function. Especially because we needed to be conscious of a nut sensitivity for one of the children. These were the perfect solution since we couldn’t get store bought cupcakes.“

“Sari at Pure Vegan makes THE BEST CAKES!!! We had the pleasure of inhaling one of her vegan, nut free cakes for my son’s 14th Birthday party . It was the best Vegan cake I have ever eaten …yumm!! According to the teenagers …it was also “super cool” looking/ goth cake for a Halloween Birthday themed party. The Oreo cookie cake was so moist. It had layers of vegan buttercream and marshmallow icing with crushed Oreos between every layer…five layer cake. ? ?. She also made us vegan , nut free chocolate dipped Oreos with various images (printed on sugar…so it was edible!). Then - instead of goodie bags with all the plastic toys etc - she made us vegan, gluten free, nut free rice crispy squares…individually wrapped with the ingredients clearly labeled. I am an allergy mom - my son has many allergies but the scariest is the nut allergy. This was money well spent! Everyone could relax ..and keep the epi pens in their med kit for this party!!! “The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

From the second we walked in the door we were treated amazingly by the wonderful staff. The hostess was quick to clear a table for us outside and get us settled. While we were looking over the menu the manager/owner? came out and asked if we had any questions about the menu and took our drink order and answered our questions. Our waitress was very personable and took great care of us. The manager/owner came out after we had finished our dinner and asked how things were. Such amazing and nice staff. The food was delicious and very fresh tasting. Our food came out quickly and we loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the evening. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.“

“Went to Nautical bowls today for the first time because my son saw the menu and look amazing and we were not disappointed. My son got the protein bowl (with fresh made peanut butter it was delicious and I ordered the tropical island (what an explosion of flavors!!) “Portion sizes good. Flavorful spiced entrees but a tad on the salty side. Basmati rice was a tad firm but assuming you mix with entree sauces, it should come out fine. While sitting to eat in restaurant is available, like the name suggests, you should eat quickly and go. The seats and tables are ok for a quick bite but I would not hang around for more than necessary. Great service from nice people. Thanks!

“The food was good though portions on small side for price. Very disappointed to have to ask for water and have served in plastic disposable cups! The atmosphere was more cafeteria than cafe. I appreciate organic healthy food so overall, gave it a decent score based on that alone. With compostable or reusable glassware, slightly more appropriate sized dinner portions for $19 each, and having tables set and dimmer more natural lighting to make atmosphere better, it could be 5 star.“

The choice of meals is constantly rotating so you never get tired of the selections. The portions are generous and the meals are very tasty. Some of my favorite meals are : greek spanakopita; meatloaf; any of the salmon meals, chicken parm, carne asada, the muffins, the lunch tuna meal, any kind of quiche, and chicken salad. the price of the meals is also very reasonable.“

“Let me start by saying, I should've written this back in December 2024. But I'm there every week - so much to say. 1) If you want a traditional butcher, who knows how to clean, cut and recommend meat, then save your peace of mind and money. Ditch the rest and go the Doris. 2) I'm from Europe and gave up on finding a good butcher.....then I found Doris. I needed a lamb shoulder for Christmas. They cut, trimmed and gave me the best lamb roast I've ever had the luck to find. But it wasn't luck. They'll even tell you how to cook it. I went back got whole, leg and thing, split chicken breasts. Then I graduated to the freshly made Italian sausages, clams, and other sundry items. I genuinely enjoy shopping there. Yes, the queues for meat can be long. But that's only because those who know, go to Doris and the staff are very nice, professional and knowledgeable. For value, quality, exceptional customer service and a restaurant quality finish to all your meals, I cant find another store than bests them. I've stopped buying supermarket meat fish, baked goods and fruit/veg. For what I pay in publix and the rest of them, the quality just isn't there. Eat clean, eat healthy - go to Doris and stay out of the Dr's office. 10/10“
