Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

I am very disappointed with the service here. Food was horrible on the day I came in. Pizza was very burnt and bland. My server Carlie was very rude and snappy. Frankly, she ruined the experience. I asked her to correct one of the meals but she refused. I asked for a manager and she also refused but I did not want to make a scene so I simply paid for my meal and left. Bavaro's do a better job with hiring staff!!! Im not sure if she was having a bad day but it should never be taken out on the customer.

I’ve tried with this place. Given it multiple tries, eat in, carry out and delivery. The problem with eat in is they have multiple fees that aren’t listed on the menu that they will charge to your bill so you have to pay close attention and figure out if it’s worth complaining to the server to get it taken care of. Nothing like being nickel and dimed. Then if you order carry out or delivery, the portion sizes are materially smaller than the restaurant despite being higher priced. I refuse to eat here any more despite the food actually being quite decent.

Happened along Bavaro's during a visit to the Tampa area, and so glad we did. This small restaurant with good vibes and ambiance is packed with flavor, service, fresh made pasta and delicious Italian food and wood fired pizza! We tried several dishes, and everything was great! If you're in the Tampa area, do visit!

Sucks for door dashers ! We aren’t allowed to stand inside In the AC & are immediately told to stand and wait outside . It’s completely hot out in this summer hitting 92 degrees outside . Completely sucks to me .

Very disappointed. We made a reservation in advance and were told only outside seating is available. We sat outside and then my mom got cut on one of the outdoor seats. Her leg was bleeding and the hostess gave us bandaids. The only follow up was to ask what chair it was to throw away….

After that people on the street bumped into our seats so we asked for any seating inside. We sat at the bar since they said no other tables were available.

We asked for one chicken parm without any cheese. Comes to us with cheese. Then the pasta is extremely undercooked.

Pizza was good but besides that an upsetting experience. No further apology for the chair cutting my mom (safety hazard!!) and incorrect dish brought out.

Would expect better hospitality.

This place is a gem! Scratch made pasta and sauces and old world charm! The penne alla vodka with grilled chicken, and tagliatelle al limone with grilled chicken were phenomenal! Highly recommend!!

If I could give 0 stars I would , my daughter is performing at the straz ctr today and she wanted to get a little to eat before the show started , we saw a pizza food truck by the name of Dough-Re-Mi , owned or in partnership with with Bavaros pizza, Ordered a cheese pizza for her and I must say it was the most disgusting piece of pizza I had ever seen , barely any cheese and the pizza was completely wet , literally WET, I said to the person who served it why it looked this way and he had no answer for me , They charged $13 dollars for 1 slice of pizza that was 100% trash… I was so freaking upset that I made it a priority to leave this review, Do not buy pizza from this food truck at the straz center as you will be putting it in the trash and loosing your money , Nasty Nasty Nasty….

Bavaro’s did not disappoint! The pizza is absolutely fantastic—fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked crust, and great flavor in every bite. But the real standout for me is the wings! They are consistently cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The service is was friendly, and the atmosphere is great as well. If you’re looking for amazing pizza and some of the best wings around, Bavaro’s is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend! 🍕🍗🙌

This place has great staff and looks cool but the food is really mid tier not terrible but alright. Probably pass on this if you’re looking for good Italian but the waitresses were fantastic! Tiramisu was tasteless and pizza was good but the flavour was soso should have gotten a red base that was on me. Could have been what I ordered pasta might be good.
