I stopped here by accident thinking it was another barbecue place that I used to go to when I lived in Tampa, but I’m so glad I found this place. Everything was delicious, which is usually rare at most barbecue places. I usually get good meats and OK sides but the sides here are amazing, especially the collard greens. The price was fair & so were the portions. It’s not a place I would sit in but I will be returning next time I’m in town for to go.

Cashiers were rude when I asked if I could switch out one side for another item like a drink even when order was not complete everyone in the back yelled no. Macaroni and cheese was horrible no taste not cheesy and tasted old.

Big John’s Alabama Barbecue did a wonderful job catering our wedding—the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. We’ve dined here many times and have always enjoyed both the food and the friendly service, so it was an easy choice to have them cater our big day. Used ir last year for party they were amazing, wish they would have menu stating meal for 10 or 20 menu is confusing but I was missing a side and they came back with it after they had closed, will continue to use them for large family dinners and parties
