Showed up at opening, did not find the place.
Menu said 12$ but then came up to the counter and was charged 17$. It ended up being $21 after the tip. The meal was big, but was pure rice, beans, and a dry meat with a tiny sauce. Lacked the attention to detail, or flavor that would make us feel okay about spending 20 bucks in that. All good and I appreciate the struggle, but the owner needs to rethink things a bit. the churros are good aside from the dulce de leche (the owner will defend it by saying "it's vegan"). if you can't replicate something, just don't call it that or simply don't serve it. the owner has repeatedly shown the community that all he cares about is taking money from vegans, nothing more. he has made comments online about the "comical nature" of serving vegans then going home and eating meat. i don't mind getting vegan food from a nonvegan establishment, but i won't spend...read full review
