Great food, awesome atmosphere, but while watching a standup show, the waitress were interrupting with loud conversations not related to the show or service. It made the experience less enjoyable

I’ll start by saying that I’ve lived in Tampa for over 30 yrs. This place use to be pretty good when it was first turned into a Club, but there were better and bigger places to visit as well. Back then they didn’t charge an entrance fee or anything because they needed customers I’m guessing. Their food and drinks were ok but a little overpriced.

Fast forward a few years and we get to the Covid era where once’s it was safe to go out not many places were open and this was one of the few that were. However, they were over changing for everything from $20-25 parking to $15-20 to enter the club on a normal Dj night. I didn’t eat there but the food was also overpriced.

I decided not to return after that. However, about a month ago I saw an announcement posted for this place and it said they were charging like $15 for entrance fees. This place in my opinion is Not worth the entrance fee and much less if they still charging the parking.

They want to make this place seem like a 5 Start Restaurant or Club when most of the time is either half empty or filled with people that have little respect for others.

I’ve also heard the owners and servers scam customers by overcharging for drinks and food. I have no idea how this place is still in business?

But in their defense, last time I was there was about 3 yrs ago when I didn’t even go in after they asked me to pay for parking and I saw that it was not the type of crowd I wanted to be around. Perhaps it’s changed, but I’ll keep looking for other spots that don’t try to nickel and dime me.

Places like Shepherds in Clearwater, 809 in Tampa is now a new Latin place that also has a lot of potential. Also the District in Downtown Clearwater is an open street Salsa Festival that’s followed up by a Club that’s right there. Unfortunately I don’t recall the name.😢 But this is a great place to visit and I can’t wait to go again. Hard Rock Casino in Tampa also has Latin nights and it’s very nice with live bands.
There are also plenty of places that charge entrance fees in Tampa that are actually worth it. However, I prefer to spend my money on food or drinks.

Server was excellent. Don't remember her name but she earned her $40 dollar tip 100%. The mago show was amazing. Good job David 👏

⭐ 1 Estrella: Propinas Ocultas y Prácticas Engañosas Fui a Casa 21 Restaurant & Bar para disfrutar del partido entre Colombia y Canadá, pero salí completamente decepcionado por lo sucedido. Pedí solo dos tragos, y cuando pedí la cuenta, la mesera me trajo un recibo con un subtotal de $32.20, impuestos de $2.10 y un recargo del 3% por pagar con tarjeta, para un total de $35.33 antes de propina. Me pareció demasiado alto, así que pedí amablemente un recibo detallado. En ese momento, la mesera cambió su actitud — se mostró molesta, imprimió el recibo, lo dejó en la mesa y se fue sin decir nada. Cuando revisé el recibo detallado, noté algo sumamente deshonesto: los tragos en realidad costaban $28.00, más $2.10 de impuestos, el mismo recargo del 3%, y una propina del 15% ($4.20) que agregaron sin avisar. Para colmo, dejaron espacio en el recibo para añadir otra propina, lo que hace parecer que no se ha incluido ninguna. Yo estuve a punto de dejar una propina adicional de $5.00 encima de la que ya habían cobrado sin decirlo. Esto demuestra una falta total de honestidad y transparencia. Me siento engañado y profundamente decepcionado. Tengan mucho cuidado si visitan este lugar — cobran propinas ocultas y lo hacen de una manera que fácilmente puede confundir al cliente.

Really had a great time, the 2 man band were amazing 👏 a good size dance floor and did a lot of dancing as both the band and Dj were really good. Prices for drinks were adequate. Will definitely go back.

I went on a Wednesday for salsa night. My friend and I love it. I can't wait to go for another similar night.
