They charged my card twice (9 days apart…So weird) for the one meal I had there. The same EXACT thing happened to my friend. The food is not worth the headache of filing a credit card dispute.

Love this restaurant.

We decided on Cipresso reservations for our Hard Rock stay. The hostesses seated us fast. Seats and tables were comfortable. Our waiter Shaevan was amazing. Knowledgeable, polite and passionate about his job. The level of service was wildly amazing.

Food we had the carpaccio. Delish, light and fresh! Would eat this every single visit. Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The lobster pasts Shaevan suggested was exactly what I needed! All in all our dinner was great, for this not being a steak house I'd come back for steak.

Came back after walking around for dessert. Shaevan made us his special cheese cake WOW what a winner! GO SHAEVAN! We will be back!

Expectations of an excellent meal in a casino setting were not extremely high, but Cipresso put out some solid, well prepared, Italian food.

The nonna's meatballs were the perfect texture, but did have a slight fennel/anise seed flavor suggesting the use of Italian sausage. Not a preference here, as I'd like Italian sausage to taste like fennel, and the meatballs to taste like...well, meatballs. But to each their own.

The chicken marsala was prepared just fine. It was tasty. Nothing you're going to buy a postcard over, but adequate. Was happy with the meal overall.

Our server was excellent.

Cipresso is the best food for the value in the casino. Want a great steak? Ditch the overpriced terrible service at Council Oak and enjoy a truffle butter laden ribeye here instead. Want a quick bite of good pizza? Sit down at the bar and enjoy a selection of well-executed pizzas (I recommend the mushroom one). They have something for every mood and after 10+ meals here, I’ve yet to be disappointed in anything. Even their bread service is excellent.

Some of my favorite things are the calamari (specifically the pesto sauce that comes with it), the charcuterie, the antipasto salad, the sea bass, the ossobuco, and the mushroom truffle pasta. They also always have a delicious special or two.

We also never found a good martini in the casino until we met John at the Cipresso bar. His customer service is top notch and he takes great care of his regulars.

Not worth the price.

First all the pros:
Nice atmosphere
Good service
Great bread
Fancy warm towels that smell good.

The caprese was laughable. The tomatoes weren't great and even worse they gave us a large, hard green tomato.
Spaghetti bolognese was sad. I didn't like the sauce, which happens, but we couldn't get past the taste and gritty texture of the noodles!
The pizza was pretty basic. It wasn't bad, but it certainly what I'd call a $21 dollar pizza. Admittedly I have high pizza standards.
Wife was excited to get the $75 king crab, until it came and was literally 2 crab legs and 2 pieces of toast. See image. She did say it tasted good, but it just wasn't worth it.

So we had a $200 meal that neither of us enjoyed and had to pay a $40 tip.

Would not recommend.

Second time having dinner at Cipresso. Both times were for dinner before a concert. We decided to eat at the bar. Very fun. Upbeat atmosphere. Bartenders are amazing!! Seriously. Spectacular service. They are chatty and fun and really know how to take care of customers. Loved everything about our visits. Had wine and a mixed drink which was excellent. Tried the Cesar salad. Usually super picky about those but this one was excellent. Shared delicious pasta. The house bread is amazing. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Loved it so much we will probably pop back in for drinks and dinner even if we have no concert or agenda for being at the Hard Rock.

I will start with the three stars.. atmosphere ..ya ya we are at a casino restaurant but seated next to the bar was just loud. That aside, our lovely waitress Jamie recommended a fantastic white wine, a pino/sauvignon blend but i don’t remember the name, ask her she will tell you. It had the short rib ravioli-wow! So much flavor! Hubby had the veal parmigiana which he enjoyed very much. Tender cut of veal with a lovely and NOT chunky sauce! (People who don’t like chunky sauce cant eat one BUT people who like a chunky sauce CAN eat a smooth sauce.. just sayin) Lovely!!
Will definitely make this a dining experience whenever we visit the Hard Rock Casino Tampa!

Wonderful food and great service! This is my first time dining here and I had a Caesar salad and the Seabass and both were outstanding! Will go back the next time I go to the casino.

The Sportsbook, Pool and Poker Room are having a lot more issues lately with paying customer/gambler. If you take a break to eat or use the pool that was paid for, they just call the cops. I can't believe "some people" have jobs. They should be Dead or in Jail.

Our server was amazing, the food was pretty good. It was kind of noisy but I have to say it was expected based on the place.

Loved this place, I recommend their pizza and charcuterie board to anyone that will listen. Until this last time. Came several times in the last few months with my husband and it was great. However, most recently we came for a business dinner - we were greeted with some unpleasant joke about how my husband and I are good looking and the man (our business partner) we are meeting with, is ugly. Great. Now that we are all uncomfortable, my husband and i order the non alcoholic drinks we love so much, and are served aperol spritzes, not what we ordered, and our server confirmed they have alcohol in them. We are both sober/in recovery, and inform our server of this again, even though my husband said that when we ordered as we are strictly alcohol free, and our server just laughed it off while we were very upset. We get our proper drinks and food, which is great as usual. Then our server comes back and tells me to “get off my phone”, which even in a joking manner this is extremely rude and I am at a business dinner taking notes. Not that it matters the context, no one should ever say that to a guest. and it shocked us all so much that all I could do was laugh.. had our dessert and left. This used to be my favorite place, but this one absolutely horrific experience wiped all of my good experiences away, and we will never come back.

We dined at Cipresso on Saturday, September 7th. We had the absolute best experience. The food was phenomenal, the decor was fabulous, but it was Shae, our server, who totally knocked it out of the park. My husband and I have dined at quite a few upscale, 5-star restaurants, but he and I both agreed that Shae’s attentiveness and thoughtfulness made our Cipresso experience far exceed most restaurants we’ve visited. If anyone is looking for an incredible dining option at The Hard Rock Tampa, please consider Cipresso, and ask for Shae!!!

This is a late post, but my daughter took me her for Mother's Day this year. We had a little trouble finding it but we immediately received a warm greeting from the hostess. The service was EXCELLENT! Loved the atmosphere... very dark & cozy and the food was even better!
I can't remember the name of the dish I ordered but it was white fish with artichoke hearts... 10/10.
Looking forward to going back!

While staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa we decided to go and try Cipresso. Don’t know why almost the fuss about this restaurant, it was decent but not enough for the price you pay. Fried calamari was ok but the fried batter was falling apart which I don’t appreciate, Ossobuco did not have a lot of flavor, did not enjoyed it, Filet Mignon was good, tender and the seasoning was nice to the palate, the best we had was the brussel sprouts side dish. The best part was the service, our waitress was attentive and helpful.
