“Today,....at 1130am we had an Anniversary gathering for our CEO, President of 32 years. A party of 10, the service was amazing, the food was amazing, from the soups, salads, tuna, to the steaks, was amazing. The desert options were amazing. 1st time here, its Wednesday at the place was packed!!!! We had a private dining room, beautiful. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you to the Host and chefs at Capital Grille, take a bow!!!!!!“

“I finally was able to make it to Kosen for a special birthday dinner at the omakase counter. Hands down the best Japanese food I’ve had so far. Being within downtown Tampa makes it so easy to get to the restaurant and it’s in a great location.
The service throughout the 2 hour experience was incredible. Everyone was so knowledgeable and attentive. The wagyu was one of the first dishes and it was hard for anything to beat that, the meat was so tender I didn’t even know it was in my mouth. The flavor of the duck breast was out of this world, I wish I had more bites of both.
The nigiri experience was amazing, all the bites were great and the fresh wasabi and everything being made to order was a joy to watch. The akami tuna was the best and the quality of fish was pristine.
The brown butter ice cream with apple and parsnip was my favorite dish and ended the meal perfectly. This experience was definitely worth the price of admission and something you should try at least once. Thank you chef!“

“Tonight’s dinner at the newly reopened Mise En Place reminded me why I love dining experiences that go beyond food. I arrived early to meet friends and was invited to sit at the bar—something I usually dread since I don’t drink. The bartender approached, and I asked for something non-alcoholic. He suggested a non-alcoholic beer (not my thing), and then I mentioned ginger beer. His eyes lit up—he had one he hadn’t tried before: Bundaberg. What could’ve been an awkward wait turned into this fun, unexpected exchange as we both discovered the drink together. It came in a vintage-style bottle, and he treated it like it was the most interesting cocktail he’d ever poured. That kind of thoughtful hospitality changes everything. When my group arrived, the meal was incredible—rich flavors, creative pairings, and descriptions that made every dish sound like art. The food was phenomenal, but the way the evening felt was even better. As I left, the bartender smiled and said, “I found a case of that Bundaberg in the back—it’ll be here when you come back.” That moment captured the heart of Mise En Place: attention to detail, genuine connection, and simple moments turned extraordinary.“

“🥂🥂BEST BRUNCH ALERT🥂🥂 I have been on a quest for a Fantabulous brunch and found it Sunday .. The Rez Grill inside Hard Rock is 10 out of 10 . I had not been there in a while and soooo glad we went .They have a new executive chef who is creating some amazing food . For $55 they have a prix fixe menu that includes a delicious basket of pastries , app,entree and dessert PLUS bottomless champagne and mimosas .FYI if you are icon or black tier status it is half price .Brunch was $27 a person .They had a special appetizer of crab toast that was fresh ,light and full of flavor. The raw oysters were ice cold ,plump and juicy with all the accoutrements .For entrees the shrimp and grits was a win and always on the brunch menu .The shrimp were large fresh and grilled perfect.The grits had some ham and sausage and a perfect consistency . I also tried the special a Benton ham Benedict .WOW WOW WOW .I am a huge country ham fan and can never seem to find it .Super impressed .The dessert section was a few different choices but I opted for the coffee mouse .We sat at the bar and the service was phenomenal .Amy was an absolute rockstar .She was attentive to everyone .Super sweet engaging and kind .I love love love great service 🥰🥰She kept the mimosas full and the dishes clean .I can not wait to go back and explore the menu more .Super Super impressed with the food and service and can not wait to go back .“

“This is my second review for Fleming’s in Tampa, because it truly deserves it. It’s one of my favorite places, with consistently excellent service and incredible food and cocktails. My son and I love coming here for Tomahawk Tuesday, and it is always a solid, dependable, and enjoyable experience. Last year, they demolished the old building and built a completely new Fleming’s that is almost double the size (reopened a few months back). They’ve hired more servers and bussers and are now able to serve a much larger number of guests while maintaining the same high level of consistency and service ~ which is impressive. Our New York strip and filet, topped with lump crab meat, were outstanding. The Brussels sprouts and Fleming’s potatoes were absolutely delicious. The drinks were fantastic, and the desserts were as good as always. We were completely full and still couldn’t resist taking the cheesecake to go ~ and their lava cake remains one of the best! Huge praise to management for excellent training, attention to detail, and consistency. Fleming’s Tampa continues to set the standard, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.“
