The high reviews are absolutely true!! Came to this place curious about the high amount of good Google reviews, and after eating here, I can say that the hype is real. Food quality is insanely good. Seafood is extremely fresh. I found out that the blue crab here is delivered to the restaurant alive. Our server, Mariah, and all the other staff were so attentive. Mai, the manager, was so sweet and seemed to really care about each guest's experiences. Lovely people working here. Thank you for an amazing time and I will be back

Great Food, amazing prices & great service. We were checked on, we were greeted within 5 minutes & Mariah was outstanding the whole time. She gave amazing suggestions to cope with my pork allergy! I had never been to a hotpot restaurant before Hong BBQ. I must say, my wife and I walked away more than satisfied with the food and service. They have an abundance of options for the BBQ and Hotpot food. Eating here is a fun activity. I like being in control of how my food gets seasoned and cooked. They have a salad bar and tons of condiments you can add to enhance your cooking experience. The prices are fair and we always walk away full and happy.

Me and my family have ate hot pot all around Tampa Bay, and decided to visit Tampa for some more. Very nice staff, the atmosphere is great. Food is average for hot pot, but I still enjoyed my time here. Definitely coming back, but there are better hot pot places in Tampa Bay such as Nine Spices.

Hong Hot Pot was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was absolutely excellent, and the entire experience was fun, interactive, and memorable. Being able to order a wide variety of fresh ingredients and cook everything right at the table made the meal feel unique and engaging.
The quality of the beef was outstanding—tender, flavorful, and perfect for hot pot. We enjoyed trying different cuts of beef along with fresh vegetables, noodles, and other ingredients. After a long day at the park, it was finally dinner time. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted, and with two picky kids, trying a new restaurant felt a little risky. We stumbled across Hong BBQ & Hot Pot in Fowler and decided to give it a shot. Our backup plan was simple. If the kids didn’t like it, we’d grab McDonald’s afterward.
Turns out, we had absolutely nothing to worry about.
From the moment you walk through the doors, the experience is impressive. The design, atmosphere, and cultural experience immediately make this place feel unique. It’s inviting, fun, and unlike anything we have back home.
Our biggest concern was whether the kids would enjoy the food. What they ended up loving was the entire experience. Being able to cook their own food right at the table on the grill and in the hot pot was a huge hit. They were engaged, excited, and having fun the entire meal.
The food itself was excellent. The beef was seasoned perfectly, the vegetables were fresh, and everything is brought right to your table for you to cook exactly how you like it. On top of that, there is an incredible buffet filled with sauces, seasonings, sides, and snacks that allow you to customize every bite.
One thing that really stood out was their refreshment menu. They offer a variety of unique and delicious drinks that you do not typically find at most restaurants. It was a great addition to an already memorable dining experience.
The service was outstanding as well. Heidi was our server tonight, and she did an amazing job guiding us through the menu and explaining all of the different options. If it’s your first time visiting, ask for Heidi. She made the experience easy, enjoyable, and stress free.

Amazing!! It was our first experience with hot pot and kbbq and it was not only so delicious, but so much fun! Tiz was extremely helpful in aiding us in navigating our time here! Next time we’re in the area we’ll definitely be stopping by again with friends :) I highly recommend the szechuan hot pot broth if you can handle a bit of spice!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have been to a Chinese hot pot in the city of Richmond BC just south Of Vancouver. A predominant Chinese city in this hot tub restaurant is on par with that except this one is all you can eat. The service is absolutely phenomenal. Heidi is an amazing and very friendly server with food comes out ridiculously fast. She didn’t even leave the table and the food was already there. We also got two free fans at the end. You need this in your life.
